I didn't like the sound effects of the Akumaizers whenever they jumped around since they are the same as the old school Riders used. Nobuo using his vast knowledge of sentai cliche - his expectation of what needs to happen next, then failing at it hilariously - touches my soul. If super sentai has truly switched gears as it has with Go-Buster, Akibaranger is a wonderful send-off of all the old ways.

Around the time Go-Onger aired, I was almost forced to buy a Prius. And if I did, I promised myself I would get one in red and call it Speedor. This series is all kinds of awesome to me.
