Sounds like the series is another miss for me then.

Is the red ranger really that bad? I have not yet watched any if this Sentai yet, but I ended up abandoning kyoryuger because Daigo got shoved down my throat too much and I really never found him likeable.

For me it's a 5, my favourite Sentai. I felt all the characters were well developed where usually I feel some get underdeveloped I did not feel that way this time. Also I liked the mecha, along with the suit design unfortunately I think it was far too different from the Sentai norm for many people. ...

I could only give it a 2 I loved the theme and look of the show, however for a Sentai that relied on the red ranger I personally really did not like him much at all, they made him too in you face for that and too "Mary-sue" and to have that much focus on red for the final boss was too much...

Right, that's what I meant, by the time Eiji had 5 Red Cores Maki had placed an additional two Purple cores in him so he would not have required a purple core from the greed at the end.
