i wish i had somthing to tell you but i have been wondering the same thing.

The technique they used to seal him wasnt RinJyuken or GekiJyuken it was straight up Jyuken. Rio wanted to end RinJyuken by uniting the two. he gave them RinGi so that they could use it with their Geki to create a technique that would seal Long away. JyuKen no Ogi, DouKokuGan.

the first episode didnt set right with me really. i mean they way they became rangers. but i felt the same way with MagiRanger so i hope it gets better in the same way.
