Re: PlayStation 5

I mean, isn't it kind of obvious? It'll probably be more powerful and faster. Nothing's luxury like getting back from a monster hunter and waiting a minute for the rest of your friends to finish coming out of the load screen If I play GTA V single player on the PlayStation 5 pro version, does that ...

No one knows, but if there's a pro one released, I'll probably get it?
Why do you prefer the pro version?

Re: PlayStation 5

Is Sony going to make a pro version in the next few years?

Which one will you get if you're buying a console a few years later? The regular or the pro?

Re: PlayStation 5

Sony has finally announced the release dates. North America, Oceania, Japan, South Korea: November 12, 2020 and the rest of the world November 19, 2020.

It's expensive for us to buy the first batch: Base is US$499 while Digital is US$399.

I ain't in a hurry to get one. I can wait until next year.

Re: A better work/fansub/life balance?

In HK here, we have 14 days annual leave after working at a company for a year. Then we have no pay leave and sick leave. I bet it's pretty much the same system.

Re: A better work/fansub/life balance?

The law in HK here doesn't care too much except the mandatory one hour lunch break. If you work extra hours, you're all on your own to arrange your dinner schedule.

I did have a two 15 minutes break. I mostly spent 2 minutes to relax and refill my water bottle before going back to work. That's it.

Re: A better work/fansub/life balance?

For those of you who worked extra hours, did you guys at least have dinner to fill yourselves up before going back to work? When I was working at a printing company, I was very workaholic. After my lunch hour from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, I sat at my office desk kept working until 6:00pm. 6:00pm is usually...

Re: A Japanese Lawyer And Masahiro Inoue Discuss Tsukasa Kadoya’s Alleged Crimes And Any Potential Jail Time

Did they mention the license plate on Decade's motorcycle? The license plate is just the Decade logo with 453145 underneath. Does the Japan law restricting drivers from decorating their license plates? Does this count jail time if Decade didn't change his license plate into the official Japan plate?...

Re: A better work/fansub/life balance?

I need to get better sleeps these days. Lately, I have been going to bed at 2:30am and getting up at 11:30am. So I think it's better that I should sleep earlier if I don't want to become a maniac.

What time does anyone usually go to bed if you're not doing fansub on that day?

Re: A better work/fansub/life balance?

Takenoko, You should change to a part time job. With a part time job, you can spend more time to do your hobby. On your day off, you can spend your afternoon enjoying a cup of Americano or Mocha, reading books, hanging out with friends, or shopping for your lust. I hope this is a helpful advice can ...

Re: A better work/fansub/life balance?

Damn decade, 10 pm is a pretty late work shift. I didn't know you were working that late. That's the nature of a printing company. Another downside is my boss and I were the only people staying up until 10:00pm-12:00am. My boss was waiting for me to complete a task alone. I didn't have guidelines t...

Re: A better work/fansub/life balance?

I've definitely felt that at some points, but this time, I feel like it's work that's the time burglar. I want to work on my projects and I'm less interested in my day to day thing that I do for money. I'm thinking about either going part-time or quitting entirely and just living off my savings and...

Re: KR Zero-One 45 and Countdowns released

I've said it before and I'll say it again... Reiwa's set a very high bar with its first series, and it's going to be that much harder for future writers and cast to rise up to the standards of this show. Hahaha. Relax, bro. While Zero-One doesn't disappoint us, the series still doesn't meet up the ...

Re: Zero-One series discussion and poll

My vote for the series is 3 out of 5 after watching the final episode last night. My final verdict is not bad at all and yet can be painful at times. It's great to see Takahashi Yuya did offer something that doesn't totally replicate the formula of the previous Riders. Like the MetsubouJinrai.net do...

Re: KR Zero-One 45 released

Yes, the conclusion is not fantastic but not a disappointment either. So MetsubouJinrai.net continues to monitor the world for future malice. Only two members stay at the job? Horobi and Jin simply let Naki and Raiden go? Fuwa's superhuman strength is from his experience of fighting as Vulcan? A new...
