I thought this was a reboot of Gaoranger when I first saw it. Only difference is the elephant instead of the bull as a core member. I think they are running out of ideas for motifs after 40 years. My fave series was Boukenger. All the cool mecha and all the characters were well developed with good stories. Bouken Red is my fave red ranger. Least fave was Go-Onger although Goseiger was also quite bad even with the cool Gosei Knight.

Boukenger was one of my all time faves and its so cool to see a couple of the actors again. Bouken Pink was always overshadowed by Yellow but she is quite a cutie on her own. Blue has definitely aged well and I hope he comes back in another series like Silver did with Kyoruuger.

Loved the show but was disappointed a few times when Takeru had an expression on his face the just screamed "I DON'T WANNA BE HERE!" Everybody else seemed to be doing it for fun but he looked like someone was forcing him to be there and he didn't like it. Anyone else notice this?

Overall, I liked the movie although it does feel like an AU story. I had confused this with the other movie and thought it was the series wrap up so I'm glad there's more to come. Best part of the movie for me was when all the riders get together for the big battle. Den-O's "You're in the way a...

I love the Den-O series myself and as long as they are well done, who cares how many movies they make. At least with the original Ryotaro, it will feel like the real Den-O.
