Re: Batman: The Brave and The Bold

I have given this a chance, and while it's not the best out there, it's pretty interesting. I too, have noticed that you do not see any of the alter egos or the like. A shame, kinda, but considering the premise of the show (just a team up of the week episodic thing), it works.

Re: Terminator TV series The Sarah Connor Chronicles

I'm not certain what (if anything) she has to do with the movie, there's no connection between the new movie and SCC (producers on either side have repeatedly said this). It's possible that it was a set visit due to her being on the series, but the fact she was supposedly dressed in military fatigue...

Re: Terminator TV series The Sarah Connor Chronicles

If anyone gets confused about the timeline(s) or what's connected to what, it goes like this (at least, this is how I've heard it). The Terminator-Terminator 2: Judgment Day-Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines-Terminator Salvation The Terminator-Terminator 2: Judgment Day-Terminator: The Sarah Connor...

Re: Heroes: Volume 3

Sylar looks at the brain to see how things work, though the eating thing is certainly understandable considering that they have disappeared entirely early on. I haven't watched much of Heroes beyond season one, and from what I hear things haven't gotten totally better from season two. Hell, I even r...

Re: Dollhouse any one?

Really, don't be bringing Firefly into this, it's hard for a show to do well when the broadcast times and days change nearly week to week, and the episodes air so far out of order, the pilot aired lost, two episodes (I think it was) don't even air. Firefly is, in my opinion an example of potential d...

Re: Terminator TV series The Sarah Connor Chronicles

Interestingly, expectations are somewhat lower on Friday night, while the Network still finds it failing, the lower expectations would mean lower "keep the show" points.

Re: Terminator TV series The Sarah Connor Chronicles

with Lost coming to a close (and losing viewers all the way), Battlestar ended, the likely cancallations of Knight Rider, Terminator and Dollhouse and the sorry state of the once great Heroes.... does anyone think the genre bubble has burst???? we have had a LOT of new genre shows in the last 3 or ...

Re: Dollhouse any one?

I just read an article today, which confirms that the thirteenth episode will in fact, be on the DVD set and is intended to serve as a "coda" to the season. A friend of mine has said today, that this wouldn't be the first time a Joss Whendon series has done this. Fans of Buffy, the Vampire...

Re: Terminator TV series The Sarah Connor Chronicles

Fox initially ordered 13 episodes for season two but at the last minute ordered an additional 9 episodes (which I think partially contributed towards the poorer plots). The ratings were not that great, the the final batch of episodes showed a climb (save the the Friday Watchmen premiered), but it mi...

Re: Dollhouse any one?

I'm really liking this show so far, some episodes more then others, sure, but I've tuned in nearly every week (one week I entirely forgot it was Friday ><).

Re: Terminator TV series The Sarah Connor Chronicles

(Wow, I haven't been here in ages...) This was one of the best episodes of the season (if not the series) thus far (and most likely period), i was watching with intense interest. Certainly, I would imagine if there is a third season, that it'd be a duel timeline type of thing, at least until there's...

Re: Guyver Dark Hero

I've seen this (and the first) a few times and like it, never gotten around to seeing any of the anime though. I had always wished that they did more movies on this, but oh, well. It's worth a viewing now and then.

Re: Kanbe Miyuki (Hinaka in Hibiki) passes away

It scares me, actually, as it's remindful of how fragile life is, and the fact that she was 24, which is my age in a matter of weeks. I feel bad for her family, it's an incredibly young age to die.
