You can't really call someone impatient when it has been a year since the last episode was released and accompanying the last release was the quote: 'Don't worry, you won't be waiting six months for the next one'. Just saying.

I was wrong about the announcer. They changed who it was from the original sales pitch. But I do have some good news. A third subbing group just released an episode. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to link to the torrent on here though. They released Kirby's Adventure.

I'm not even brave enough to watch the episode. I need to work myself up to it.

They didn't cut anything. It is the directors cut from one of the DVDs. Also the narrator passed the highest level of the JLPT in 1995 and has lived in Japan for nearly 20 years so I'm going to guess that he knows how to pronounce Japanese names correctly.

Some guys over on Something Awful have been subbing episodes recently too. They've done Mega Man 3, Castlevania 3 and Tokimeki Memorial so far. They are holding off on doing any more until they see what happens with Kotaku.

Their twitter feed said subs. Another article said dubbed. My guess would be that producer Ken is dubbed and the rest is subbed just like when Fuji TV was originally shopping the show around.

Pretty sure it wasn't released theatrically there which is why they are putting so much effort into the home release.

I wasn't aware that Japan was such a hotbed of terrorist activity.
