If it hadn't had GARO in the title I wouldn't have watched it. The story isn't original or unique enough on its own and frankly the Garo mythos seems kinda slapped on. It's basically the Hibiki of Garo.

Nah, they're completely skippable. I actually recommend you skip them, total waste of time.
