Though I prefer Kabuto, I must say I was pleasantly surprised by Kiva. At least later on in the series as things got more 'complex'.

Every time I think Bandora and her gang couldn't be the most awesome older gen Sentai villains ever, they do something like have a dance party in the middle of Bandora Palace. I love these guys. Also, I can't help but think Zyu would be considered almost blasphemous if it aired as a modern Sentai. ...

I've started watching Blade now and... it is a very odd and uninspiring opening. I rather like the series itself so far but the opening is plain pathetic. Oo;

What would you say is basically the difference between those 2?

Having finished Kamen Rider Kabuto I was wondering if there was a series a bit similar to it?

- A realistic approach to the powers, namely it's 'technology' if possible.

- Several Riders if possible.

- decent special effects.

- Not too much slapstick or awkwardness.

No the Director's Cut has several tiny scenes added in between throughout the movie. Nothing epic or the likes, but not unwelcome.
