Re: 2005 series licensed by Section23's Kraken Releasing, later installments to follow
It's Hironobu Kageyama aka lead singer of JAM Project who voices Zaruba in every Garo property. Also anything that's live action dub is just horrible. Kraken should just stick with subs only. Thank you. I figured it was him, I just wanted to confirm it. And yeah, not a fan of dubs, live action or o...

Re: 2005 series licensed by Section23's Kraken Releasing, later installments to follow
Shows how well I read. I didn't know there'd be a dub. If I DO ever listen to it, it'll only out of curiosity or to watch with my Dad or brother in law, both who I think would like GARO if not for the fact most of it is subbed. Speaking as to WHY it's the first dub, Kraken probably could only affor...

Re: 2005 series licensed by Section23's Kraken Releasing, later installments to follow
That synopsis of the movie is... odd. It really implies that Rekka becomes a knight, which is going to make this movie REALLY disappointing to new viewers. Also, this is evidently the first release getting an English dub. I wonder why they'd bother starting to do that now, four releases into the se...

Same here about Beast.
Good news though; I heard some reviews and the Blu-rays match the video quality of TV-NIHON. I'm pleased

Re: Are you a pirate?
I almost complained about you not having an option like "I watch fansubs because there's no official release", but I realized Japanese releases count as well. I picked I would buy the official work, but I can't for financial reasons and I would buy the official work, but not if it's dubs ....

Re: They're Back! Tokumei Sentai Versus Doubutsu Sentai
Thanks for doing an HD sub. I never got why Go-Busters Returns wasn't put on Blu-Ray originally (literally everything else was by this point). Looks great and, just like the SD version, a fun film (I know, I know... duh :)). Thanks for redoing it and your plans on going through the rest of the films...

Happy anniversary TV-Nihon. One of the greatest sub groups, fan or official. Been a fan since around the Deka-Bouken (watch Deka and Magi on YouTube and eventually watch Bouken in order) Great job making it so far and keep up the great work.

Re: Ratings Poll: Mirai Sentai TimeRanger
Great series but the picture quality is a bit lacking sadly. I've heard rumors that Toei doesn't have good master tapes anymore. No idea if that's true but it would explain why the DVD footage looks the way it does- I don't know what the story is, but I THINK the problem is... I don't know, however...

Re: TimeRanger VS GoGo V HD720
Thank you. I was okay with SD; my only complaint (in the real Time vs GoGo thread) was that the upscale was called "crap". Upscaling sucks since it's clear it was shot on film, but at its worse I still thought it at least looked as good as the DVD. In any case, thank you again for the HD72...

To anyone who downloaded the previous releases, TV-Nihon redid the 1st 29 episodes. Rename the original folder before you get over 80 files

Re: TimeRanger VS GoGo V released
I don't agree with about it looking like ass, but I can't fault you for not wanting to do an HD version. There's a slight upgrade in my opinion, especially if you watch the trailer before or after. Enough to get it if you already have it on DVD? No. Ass just seemed to harsh a criticism (Calling Toei...

Re: Garo licensed for DVD
Japan just has phenomenal mark ups on Blu Rays across the board don't they? They most certainly do. That's why it's always a celebration when another Toku comes to American shores. I'll miss TV-Nihon's subs but I applaud them for not holding onto subs for licensed shows. For those outside the US, y...

Re: Kamen Rider Heisei Generations: Dr. Pac-Man VS Ex-Aid & Ghost with Legend Riders Released!
To be honest, I feel like they could have done the movie without Makoto and Alain. They just appeared for the fight scenes and then didn't really matter much. I did like the fact how the writers remembered that the riders had interacted with each other before and put it in the writing. As a whole t...

Re: Jyuohger VS Ninninger released
Nice movie. Nuff said. However I must say episode 19 is beautiful in Blu Ray quality. I know TV Nihon hasn't said anything about rereleasing current shows in Blu Ray but I'd love to rewatch these shows in that quality when they're available. Wink wink I doubt it. They have enough getting shows and ...
