Well, if you look, they all have weapons as Imagin corresponding to their forms [I don't think Ryu does though]

I think the creator of the shows just did that so it would look better.

But Sword Form would still be red, as that's the color on the belt

It was just 'coincidence' that the imagin happened to be that color...yes...coincidence....
