Re: Read before posting - Rules & Regulations
Hello.
Sorry to bother you. I am pretty much screwed when it comes to the color scheme on this web site, although I really [realy?... darned learning disability!] want to read all the cool posts and contribute where possible. Is there some way for me to set a personalized, easier to read color scheme? My vision is currently around 278/20... pretty much legally blind unless staring through a Scoped Reticle at Target Alpha from a somewhat comfy nest. The dark with red and I think other colors that exist are almost impossible for me to resolve. Sorry for the bother, but if there is a way to adjust MY view without affecting anybody else who probably agrees with me that this is a way cool site for its neat graphic qualities and wonderfully insitefull [insiteful... insightful... urgh, did I mention the learning disability that screws up my splle... spelln... spelling?] fora, then please let me know. Currently, I am Click-Dragging with my mousepad to read anything other than White on Charcoal.
Thank you for listening to my frustrated rant which is in no way meant to be a rant, complaint, or attack. [Deep Bow! DEEPER Bow! GOMEN NASAI!!] Any suggestions short of "Hey, Dude, you're screwed up beyond FUBAR would be greately... greatly appreciated.] Again, thank you very much.
Have a great evening.

Mmh..as far as i know, we havent a choice in skins for the boards. So, this is, I believem the only one color set we have. Though, it would be nice to have a choice.

If you're on windows, go to control panel and select accessibility options. Turn on high contrast

Re: Read before posting - Rules & Regulations
something that might benefit from a rule is the size of images in signatures, ive noticed several people with uber size ones recently, just makes browsing threads a whole lot more irritating

Re: Read before posting - Rules & Regulations
If there's something really obviously too large, I'll usually speak up. Unfortunately there's no setting in our forum software that can do a hard limitation to image size

Re: Read before posting - Rules & Regulations
I've been informed that it is possible to set avatar limits. So for now I've set a 300 pixel width avatar limit. That's probably still too large, but we can whittle it down as we go. I'd much rather start off too big than too small

Re: Read before posting - Rules & Regulations
I'd like to reiterate to people to please not use the episode discussion threads for playback or download problems. There's a reason the forums for those exist at the top of the forums for easy accessibility
Also, remember not to post spoilers for shows we do. We mainly serve people who wait for our subs, their priorities come first. Quality work takes time to do

Re: Read before posting - Rules & Regulations
Quick question: I know that there are people who are subbing KR Ryuki right now, but is it against the rules to ask the people who are subbing that series to finish subbing the series? The last subbed episode release was about a month ago and I just want to give my support into finishing off the last 10 episodes. BTW, I am new here.

Re: Read before posting - Rules & Regulations
we are busy people are we will get to it when the time allows us to get to them, just be patient, is that so hard, please read the rules first since asking when something is going to be released is against the rules

Ok. Thanks for answering the question. I thought it was against the rules when I read it but wasn't sure.

Re: Read before posting - Rules & Regulations
Added a new rule to deal with some things that have been coming up:
11) This is kind of an extension to rule 1. While people are free to make criticisms about staff or projects, it is not okay to be rude, insulting, stupid, or obnoxious. You know, staff will be respectful if you guys are respectful. We are providing a free service, so I won't be tolerating anything that I interpret as abusive, which includes anything that appears passive aggressive, obvious or even less than obvious digs at people, etc.
In short: Write like an adult and learn to phrase things to communicate a point that doesn't make people want to ban you
Re: Read before posting - Rules & Regulations
Please advise if there is, and if so where, one can seek help in obtaining a eposide of a TV show?
Thanks
