...Couldn't it be possible to make Sims versions of the Den-O characters? Imagine the possibilities with that (pun partially not intended)....

Ironically, there IS a Sims version of the Den-O characters, which includes the Taros-tachi in both Imagin and HUMAN forms, as well as Hana and Yuuto and Deneb in some Japanese sites.
