Ryotaro Nogami Question...‎

I Just watched Episode Red, and it's the first Den-O Movie i've watched. So i was wondering if there was a reason There was a different actor for Ryotaro? Like, if something happened in the other movies to cause the switch. Of If they just hired someone new.

Probable reason: Old Actor didn't want to do it, he didn't in the Decade Crossover one either.

Universe explanation: Time distortion by oni in said cross over caused age turnback.

The new, "younger" Ryoutarou was first seen in the last Chou Den-O film, and the best real-world explanation we have is that Takeru Satou, who plays classical Ryoutarou, is busy with other projects. I believe I heard he still enjoys the movies and enjoyed working on the series while he did.

Maybe he's talked to the writers into making the whole time distortation problem being used for a future movie so they don't have to switch actors suddenly... when he isn't as busy with projects. Would mean Chou Den-O Trilogy is basicly helping set up this movie.

Why didn't they use Kotarou/Past Ryoutarou from Ore Tanjou? he's might be a well-informed characters as we did(I did) look up to him as an original cast, or it is the kid from Ore Tanjo?
Anyways the kid name's Takuya Mizoguchi.I'd like to see if he'd been somewhere else....

Probably because they didn't want another child actor on the roster long-term.

Just to clear up for those wondering about the Ryoutarou here in all all three Episodes (as well for the Decade crossovers), it's Takuya Mizoguchi, reprising his role/replacing Takeru Satou as young Ryoutarou. And yes, Takuya played young Ryoutarou/Kotaro ("ko" as in "little") in Ore Tanjou.

Well, it has been 3 to 4 years since the movies, and children do develop quite quickly.

I'm sure they had no trouble getting him to reprise his role. "Hey, do you want to be the (puppet) main character of the most popular Kamen Rider series?"

I say puppet lead because we all know Momotaros is the real main character.

It was more of a jab at the fact that the Imagin are more central to the whole series now than any human characters. Hell, they don't even need to posses him to transform, but I suppose its easier with access to just the one pass.

yeah plus the new ryotaro like fourteen now anyway so if they keep making more movies he'll soon be the same age as takeru satoh when he started in 2007

He'd like to be in them, but he's busy with other stuff and Toei's not putting their movies on hold to wait for his schedule to be free.
