If you're from my generation, you've probably read Calvin and Hobbes and loved it.

If not, well, there's always the Internet archive version. Start here:

I always loved this strip. This is so defining of my humor.

It's pretty amusing to find out that apparently Susie and Calvin's mom are based on Bill Watterson's wife. While Calvin's dad looks exactly like Bill Watterson without his mustache.

I think argentina's equivalent would be Mafalda...altough i think Mafalda is by far closer to peanuts than it is to Calvin......
aaanyway, i was aware it existed, and CR from Thatguywiththeglasses added it to his top 10 comic strips. but i have never come to read it outside of individual strips. And to be honest, i'm not exactly a fan of stories were everything is the character's imagination. i don't have anything against it, i just preffer stories were the talking tiger is real and not just an illusion. it's just not of my liking(hell, i dropped akibaranger at episode 2 until i discovered the twist of later episodes)

But yeah, i support this kind of projects. comic artists and writers deserve to be recognized.

I can't believe I never read these before. These are hysterical. Calvin has some guts for the way he talks to his parents. He's super intelligent for a six year old. I wonder what he'd be like when he's an adult.

So much Calvin and Hobbes love even before I knew where their names came from. Ah so many memories.
READING TOO MUCH INTO THINGS![/size] including random over analysis rants on pop culture, and Tokusatsu series reviews, if Toei gets off my back for long enough. Also follow on twitter @R2TMIT, or facebook.com/R2TMIT
