So basically shonen tropes?

Well, you've got to have two guys that are rivals

The main character should start off either ridiculously pathetic then become ridiculously overpowered, or just start off as overpowered. Then over the course of the story, they just get even more powerful, even though he's basically unstoppable at first.

If there is one girl, she'll be super smart compared to the guy, who is super simple. She should frequently be angry and violent. If there is a second girl, she should be over feminine

There's no timeskip in Bleach...yet. Except the couple months between the end of the Soul Society arc and the beginning of the Bount arc. But on with the tropes.

-The lead should be not the sharpest tool in the shed, while his rival is a relative genius.
-The lead will have at least one physical transformation power-up, if not more.
-He will never stop getting stronger.
-Deus Ex Machina. The lead will be losing in a fight, and then somehow he'll turn around halfway through and beat the crap out of the other guy. WITHOUT powering up further.
-He'll be loud and obnoxious, but you can't not like him.
-There will be at least one female with giant breasts.
-One of the female characters will have a secret crush on the lead.

You're forgetting the most important trope of all, one that has been parodied many times by other publications (Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei has a great example of this): the enemy/archnemesis who eventually becomes the main guy's friend and ally.

Oh and don't forget to extol the value of friendship and camaraderie over all else.

There has to be a lot of feminine looking guys.
Some people have to have over-sized weapons.
70% of the old men have to be perverts.
As a badass receives more love, they become weaker (until they have to protect someone).
When a bad guy "dies" in a vague way, they come back.

The MC needs to go through an emo phase. It can last a chapter, or a page, but he needs to go emo for a while.

You guys forgot the excessive drama and, in a lot of cases, tears.

But you know that those cliches are only from action shounen right? For instance, the romance shounen have a whole different group of "must-haves".

-variable ability to take damage (hero can withstand an attack that would obliterate a building but is completely incapacitated from a female slapping him)
-the hero lives by a motto that is never wrong
-black lipstick makes male characters evil
-adults who are unable to solve problems and must rely on the younger generation
