You're in the right area but that wasn't the only difference. Also it was mentioned in Ryuki 1 thread that the battle karaoke will appear in certain situations.

Cape? Hmm, let's see...I like Knight's armor and especially his helmet. It's just...wow. That's what grabbed my attention. Also I thought Darkwing hanging on his back is just so cute. Sort of like using a cute plush bookbag.

But I am waiting on Ren. We all know that he passed the personal appearance test, but I am waiting on personality test.
It would be so fun if he turns out to be character I truly like because...it would be so troublesome to hate such cute guy especially that he's such likable guy in two other series. ^^
Thankfully he seems like a very loyal guy.

To be honest, I thought Yui was a boy until second ep. O.o; It wasn't until I noticed her skirt which is when I realized it's a female character.
