This looks like an interesting movie in the making. Not only is there veteran tokusatsu director Koichi Sakamoto, but mah waifu Nao Nagasawa of Hurricanger, who has been making recent cameos in W and Gokai, and Minami Tsukui, who played the Hopper Dopant in W (she was in Den-O but it was a non-speaking role).
Give the video a look, see what you think. Might be an interesting future project if it turns out.

Here's the original video:

I thought it was pretty good, but I also felt like I got everything I wanted out of the clip. The action and effects were fantastic, why risk ruining that by potentially having a mediocre plot? Sometimes short things are good too.

With these kind of movies you can be certain that the plot won't be much to write home about. It is either not existing, cliched to hell or just over the top ridiculous and filled with dues ex machina. But then again I don't watch these movies for the plot. Just for the action, CGI effects and the feminine beauty.

LOL what? This is an odd post to read after seeing what you just said about the Scott Pilgrim movie. Seems kind of contradictory?

Oh my! I can never get enough of Nao Nasagawa's hotness. I swear, she has to be one of the, if not, hottest Japanese celebrities I have ever seen. That's not counting Idols or um, porn actresses. Lol...Anyways, so Koichi Sakamoto is doing this and also currently working on Fourze too? Man, he sure has a lot of time on his hands now. That's good. I hope this becomes a success because I like Koichi's work.

I kinda expected an answer like that. However I can watch the battles with the exes a hundred times over. Great action, nice CGI visuals. It are the parts in between that are... so... dull... It puts me to sleep.takenoko wrote:LOL what? This is an odd post to read after seeing what you just said about the Scott Pilgrim movie. Seems kind of contradictory?
Scott Pilgrim only has Mary Elizabeth Winstead as feminine beauty. Does it compare to the feminine beauty of this movie by the name of Nao Nagasawa. Besides the Japanese are more expressive in intonation. The dialogue will probably not put me to sleep.

I skimmed 3 and it looks like it's just about the cgi. 4 has an interview with the girls where they talk about the movie, the stunts, working with director whats his face, and working with each other.
