I remember back when Toonami used to show dubbed Naruto back then. It was cancelled a while back though.

It's not unheard of. ThinkGeek keeps coming out with outrageous products each year for April Fool's, but they actually end up making the product most years because a lot of people want to buy it. It's likely someone high up saw how many people wanted Toonami back and decided to give it a shot.

It was due to the April Fools gag. A lot of people took to Twitter and Facebook after Adult Swim's twitter account asked fans if they wanted Toonami back.
As for the show line-up, to be completely honest, I have no idea what they're going to show. There was a list released by TV Guide but
according to Cartoon Network/Adult Swim, it wasn't the real schedule. They plan to keep it a secret up until the 26th.
