Why the hell not?
Any thoughts?

Is it any good? I thought it was cool to see some returning actors, but it's a pity they couldn't get Pullman or Moranis

Its pretty good I think. The line above with Scroob and Helmet is my favorite line. But, I think the animation is kinda crappy, especially the Princess. It looks like an Internet cartoon.

Since when was G4 known for good animation in cartoons anyways? In fact, does G4 even HAVE animated series besides this and Code Monkeys? o_O
But I think its pretty funny, although they don't show it often, they did the first couple of weeks but I haven't seen it in the schedule.

I am also disappointed they couldn't get Moranis, but I don't think Pullman would fit in the cartoon.takenoko wrote:t's a pity they couldn't get Pullman or Moranis

I dunno about that, Pullman has a pretty gruff tough guy voice. I feel bad about Moranis, it doesn't seem like he's worked in years

Re: Spaceballs cartoon
I've watched about 8 episodes. The first few were kind of rough, but I'm really enjoying it. The gimmick is basically the Spaceball characters parodying any and all movies. Having a bunch of familiar voices really reenforces the feeling that these are the characters from the movie. The guy doing Barf's voice is eerily spot on.

seems Rick Moranis is retired and not doing anything at all these days (he's a single dad)takenoko wrote:I dunno about that, Pullman has a pretty gruff tough guy voice. I feel bad about Moranis, it doesn't seem like he's worked in years

Ah. It's a very Calvin and Hobbes ending kind of sadness. You know the artist is still in existence, but they've moved on and there's nothing that can really be done. It's their decision after all.
I still kind of wish he did some of the voice acting work for Spaceballs or Ghostbusters, that doesn't seem like it'd be much of a time commitment. Oh well
