Well, its not really a new series, but its a Revamped Version of DBZ in HD with Faster Pacing (The series will move about as fast as the Magna did, SO NO FILLERS!).

- The series will get a New OP and ED
- All the Dialog has been re-recorded and Most of the Original Seiyu are back
- The Story will be edited for faster pacing
- The series is going to run about 100 Episodes, Compared to 291 of the original 1989-1996 series.
- Completely new sound design with updated sound effects.

It all starts again April 5th!

Nice. I initially thought they would be doing another season. Oh well.

Compressing the series would be great since boss fights in every story arc can take plenty of episodes filled of looping dialogue.

The first episode was great! It had a few clips from the bardock special, clips from dragon ball, and an all new animated OP and ED that looks AMAZING

I really like how they've handled the OP, ED and eyecatches for this remake. The songs aren't all that shabby, either.

I'm freakin' hooked on that OP, though. It's so catchy. ^_^

I really want to see they make some part or scene in battle with new animation...

I enjoyed the first episode. It was a lot of fun, even though I already knew what was gonna be happening.

Really? I only found one, and they didn't even translate the opening or ending, they used all the English names (Saiyan for Saiyajin, etc.), and they spelled Goku as Gokuu for some reason. Needless to say, I wasn't impressed.

Maybe you can find the best torrent for DB Kai at nyaatorrents... Search Dragon Ball Kai & sort by seeders... Usually the more the seeders, the better the translations...

Yea that rumour is kinda rusty. I don't think the series will end any faster in just 100 episodes. The original DBZ was near 300 episodes and plus they cannot accomplish the Cell Saga in just 100 episodes. I wouldn't count on them just finishing at Frieza because don't forget the fans are just waiting for a little 'GOLD' fanservice which will need the ingredients of hatred and loss
