Even after all the years that have passed, Sailor Moon is still my ultimate favorite. I've enjoyed some other anime immensely but I still come back to it as my one true favorite. Can't help myself.

I haven't been watching too much anime lately. Just been reading a LOT of manga instead, but those are my big favs

I've been watching Anime since early in my childhood. I can go ahead and make an almost endless list of all of my favorite Anime shows and movies, but rarely a few had an impact in my life like these 2 did:

Katsuhiro Otomo's Akira and Studio Ghibli's Hotaru no Haka (AKA Grave Of The Fireflies)

Akira showed one of the most advanced animation of it's time, even rivaling those of Disney's high profile movies. Many people didn't understand the plot, but few can deny it's legacy as one of the greatest masterpieces of Japanese animation.

Grave Of The Fireflies is, without a shadow of doubt, one of the most beautiful, powerful and moving pictures EVER (I won't spoil anything, if you haven't seen it go ahead and see it PRONTO!!!), and the fact that the story is based on actual events makes it the more powerful enough. In fact, if you don't even shed ONE TEAR while watching this movie you don't have the right to call yourself a human being. Yes, it is THAT powerful.

I know the title said shows, but as i said before, few Anime had an impact in my life like these 2 did.
