Which anime series do you recommend?

こんにちは！I really have a hard time finding anime to watch since there's so many to choose from. Which anime series would you suggest I start on?

(I've watched a little of Evangelion & Vandread but have lost touch with them since.)

The Anime I recommend is Bleach, D-Grayman, Gintama, & Claymore

Never really got hooked to it. Weird thing is, I read most of the manga.

I second the motion for Claymore and would add that R.O.D would be a great one to watch as well. Do start with the O.V.A. first. R.O.D. is a rare example of the ova actually being a part of the story. Though if you want to start with the T.V. first, that's cool, but watch the ova before you get to eps 14, that's where the information will become most important.

another good one would be Samurai 7... though I can't comment on the ending as I still have to watch the last two discs myself (which is funny since I've had the whole thing for three years now)

Basilisk Kouga Ninpouchou; A ninja-themed Romeo and Juliet which, in my opinion, is far better than not-so-tragic Romeo and Juliet.

definitely Katanagatari, then its Ookami san to shichinin no nakama tachi, Oreimo, DRAGONBALL KAI!!! <------ Such epic stuff since there's no fillers in kai. lol
