Nostalgia Critic Parody
Angry Video Game Nerd Parody
http://www.capcam.org

I've started up a review slash skit show. The first video is an Angry Video Game Nerd Parody called Mad Interactive Entertainment Geek. The video lasts about 30 minutes and be sure to watch through the credits. Let me know what you think and spread the link around.

I just finished watching it and... eh... wasn't that good. The absolute biggest flaw was the Cheetah totally lacks emotion. As NC would put it, "I'm acting!" It really looks like you're reading off a script. Your voice and body language should be more exaggerated so it would look a lot more convincing. Master that, and I think your video would be much better.

Kinda.. confused with what was the card thing.

Spoiler
Double Double Double. XD

The card thing was [2+2]=[5], which basically means that whatever happened in that scene just didn't make sense.

BRILLIANT! I lol'd throughout most of the movie, and chuckled through the rest.

Spoiler
Guy kept losing his sword and you'd keep wtfing, hilarious! xD

No. No. No. No... no. I'm pretty sure that wasn't interesting enough to warrant hunting you down over... but that's not to say I for one don't want to see more of you, I in fact do. I want to see more BUT I want to see you NOT PARODY ANYONE let alone the Angry Video Game Nerd slash Nostalgia Critic... I mean, come on, it's not like the Sentai universe isn't just a virtual minefield of things that need to be complained over, and you can start with the first offender of the year 2010 (Disney's Power Rangers "Remastered" reboot)... I mean, come on, if this is what is passing as "Remastered" these days then there is something painfully wrong here! Funny lighting effects, turning grey skies blue, Adam West Batman sound effects and pointless border throw ins (amongst no doubt other offenses to the original Saban PR) is NOT REMASTERING ANYTHING! In fact they might as well have killed off the Power Rangers franchise, would have been way more merciful than what they did!

Then there's classic series that is just too goofy for words (good, but goofy). Liveman comes to mind (just started watching that), and the evil that is Chichirangers (the retarded adult porn knockoff of Sentai)... how many knew there was a porno version of sentai out there! Show of posts!

Anyway if you're going to critique then at least do something you have actual emotions towards (something that really pushes your buttons and really sparks actual honest emotion from you everytime you see it, especially if it's something you hate with a passion unseen before in review!)

I don't see what's wrong with doing a parody. It's just for fun, and it's not like Cheetah is ripping them off for his own show

I think that Cheetah will get better as he does more. No one starts off a Spoony or Nostalgia Critic, and you can't tell someone to start acting better. That just comes with practice

Of course, you can tell someone to start acting better. I just did. However, I don't expect him to get incredibly better instantly since it does take practice as you said. It's called criticism. Though I'm not trying to be a dick about it and trying to give him some ideas to improve.

I don't literally mean you can't tell someone to start acting better, obviously. Considering your second sentence shows you got what I meant, I'm not sure what point the first sentence served.

Anyway, I still stand by what I said. I think that acting is a skill that someone gets through practice and working through it on their own, not from people just telling them to do so. Yeah, you do give some good advice and stuff, but I'm not exactly beating you for your comment, so there's no need to get super defensive from what I said either

Aoiblue - "Perhaps you know the last song"

Hide And Seek by Imogen Heap. Using it for a death was first done in The OC. It was serious until Saturday Night Live did a parody and now it's a joke. I was thinking of using another song but I didn't want to joke to die. HA Get it! i'm sorry, i'll stop...

SwordHero1 - "Your voice and body language should be more exaggerated so it would look a lot more convincing."

I thought I put enough in where I wanted it but of course I'm biased. I'll keep that in mind and try to work on it for the next video I make. Thanks for your polite critique and not the rage rant that the internet is known for. Also on the Double thing, I know it's W's fault but I'll blame Decade. :D

DarkeRaven - "BUT I want to see you NOT PARODY ANYONE let alone the Angry Video Game Nerd slash Nostalgia Critic..."

But I had two more parodies planned... :( Seriously though, while I do plan a couple other parodies it's the end for the Nerd and Critic ones. I'm just doing these to tribute to each of my favorite internet reviewers. I'm also using them to learn how do the vids (like lighting for example) and after that if I feel I'm doing good enough I'll continue with my own.

Thanks for all your views and comments.
