The well-renowned Bollywood actor who appeared in several Western films unfortunately passed due to a malignant neuroendocrine tumor. He was travelling to London for treatment since March 2018. He leaves behind a wife, Sutapa, and two sons, Babil and Ayan.

He was Pi Patel as an adult. He was a police inspector in Slumdog Millionaire. He was Masrani Global CEO Simon Masrani from Jurassic World. And he was Dr. Rajit Rahan, Oscorp representative to Norman Osborn from the 1st Andrew Garfield!SpiderMan movie series. In some Hindi movies, he plays the antagonist.
