I like the way NejiRed is like "We'll die when the MegaRangers are defeated. I don't want to die. So I will fight the MegaRangers!" What?! Dude, I'm glad you have a purpose in your life, but you know that's gonna kill you, right?
Edit: Also saw this when going through the episode for encoding:
MegaRanger 43 released
Re: MegaRanger 43 released
I was going over this episode again after QC, and it occurred to me how weird it was that NejiRed, after having his free will (essentially) taken away by Hinelar, had the ability to take away NejiBlack's and NejiYellow's free will as well.
There's some kind of weird fate vs. free will argument there somewhere.

Hinlear was lucky that Kubota told the MegaRangers not to immediately defeat the NejiRangers or otherwise that Jarvis would be still alive.

You're just baiting me, aren't you?
(Damn, you're getting near the end now. And this is one I like. Gonna have to watch it and stuff.)

Spoiler
The hero's eventually going to win. But at what cost? Also,

Re: MegaRanger 43 released
Man I wish modern series were more willing to stage robo battles with more participants. Granted they did green screen the segment with all 4+3 going at it, but still. These days they just form the cluster and start spamming CGI attacks since the cluster is too big to move.
I'm a bit disappointed to see that the flying head thing (taking away free will) makes as little sense in Sentai as it did in PR. I was kind of hoping that would be explained better.
Though if I can indulge in a bit of PR for the moment, this is one of those episodes where I think PR did it better. Having NejiRed want to defeat the rangers from the start works better, I feel.

Huh, did Toei move their old MegaRanger page? That's weird.
It's supposed to be here, but it's not loading for me either:

Re: MegaRanger 43 released
Since Hinelar created the Neijirangers it makes sense that he had a way to control them if they didn't do what he wanted.
I wasn't sure, but in the scene where Hinelar is talking to NeijiRed, it looked like Hinelar was being controlled from another location. Is he using a robot body or something?
