Repetitive arguments are repetitive

Since forum members have a penchant for going into rants over beaten-to-death topics, I've decided to simply put those posts in one place, rather than let them distract from the main episode discussion. Please keep such topics in these threads

On the list:

-Complaining about Go-Onger in Shinkenger
-Complaining about Akiko from W
-Lack of CGI Kivaara

Edited for spelling
-Grammar Nazi

I still don't understand why Akiko is "annoying". :?
Oh well to each his own.

Because she's loud and obnoxious and in the way.

The characters around her are supposed to think she's annoying. That does not make her a bad character.

Oh also the "Decade Den O ruins everything argument

CGI Kivaara, was only annoying because they didn't keep it consistent. I wouldn't mind if they had toy kivaara as long as they didn't switch every other scene

Go onger, Still haven't watched

And Akiko is annoying as hell and her slipper thing is worse than Natsumi's pressure point thing

Well, at least I liked Akiko's slipper thing (Natsumi's thumb pressure point thing is just lame)

FIX'D
That aside, Akiko really isn't that bad, she tried to help Shoutaro on eps 3 and 4 (Albeit ruining Shoutaro's plan)

My main gripe with Narutaki & Kivaara were that they were featured so heavily in the Decade story but used so little premise wise, and then we have to wait for a movie to explain everything about them, what's the point of even having them in the series if your not even going to use them effectively.

Well because Decade's story is told within a short series and two movies. There's nothing wrong with having a finale become a movie when the movie will likely close it off in a better way.

Hey, you forgot about the Mio bashers from Kiva.

Dang, because you mentioned Kiva all the rant memories are returning now...

1. Nago being a Button Maniac and occasionally, an ass
2. Kengo being more of an ass than Nago
3. Nago becoming a comedic relief

Aaaah, good times, goood times...

Can I complain about Philip here? Seriously, I love Akiko to bits, the dynamic between her and Shoutarou is one of the biggest appeals of the show to me. She is brattish but in an adorable way, and I think Shoutarou doth protest too much in a way. Still, wouldn't change their interaction for the world. I think the fact that she gets taken down a peg (jokes about her looking like she's 12 not 20) help.

... on the other hand, I just can't stand Philip. He has none of the charm that make me love Shoutarou, so far he's never been embarrassed or really taken down a notch. Even when his flashbacks are screwing them over he pins the blame on Shoutarou because he's deluded as to his own capabilities. and he exemplifies the cool confident arrogant sort of bishounen character that I really can't stand as a Kamen Rider. In fact between them I almost feel like W distils what I like and hate in a main character- Shoutarou gets all the good qualities, Philip gets all the bad.

Still, for me, Shoutarou and Akiko more than make up for Philip. Plus I'm still super excited about the villains too...

Mio bashers are here somewhere, they're just hiding Gunzy. I don't have any grudges against Mio, coz
Spoiler
she died in the end anyway. So, I 'll let it pass.

There were plenty of Kiva arguments... now I remember, one of the prime argument was Nago.

ShadowX7, I would support you 100% on Nago. In the begining he was a really justice and button collector freak. Kengo just went haywire after Nago went crazy. N then Nago goes, 'I'm gonna all funny! Yeah!' KR Kiva turned unwillingly into soap opera... meh...

From the looks of KR W... well, we'll be expecting more weird characters. Let's just hope it doesn't go overboard when we get to the end (which has a uncanny knack to turn things totally 180 degrees) *prays for better charac development overall*.

Is it me or there's a high increase in wacky development character in the KR series through the years?

Same here. It sorta made tv nihon looked like they were on budget crisis, which I highly doubt... as Decade started at the beginning of the year. Now W has a lot of CG scenes... *Scratches head* The HELL?!

Not really repetitive argument, but when people complain about the alternative riders and whine and wonder why the originals aren't there. When Decade's mission statement from the get go is that it would be a different take on the originals. It was cute like the first 10 times, but I still see people (Not necessarily here) complaining about it weeks after the series has ended, get over it already!

People who are always saying how much they are not enjoying a series, or being bored by Toku in general but are usually the ones posting the most about it.

The Yuusuke henshin thing was already mentioned so I won't go there.

Usally the complaints suck. At least those who just say "mio sucks" without a big reason to WHY.
