That was a cool episode right there; the swordplay was really the selling point of the scene and Mako looking cute as always.

and Juuzou look so badass and can't even explain it.

I honestly think that the roll call and choreography in this episode is one of the best that I've seen in a long time.

For me, this was a pretty standard episode. There really wasn't much that I haven't seen before/expected in terms of plot. Most of the interesting parts happened during the fight scenes. I don't really understand why the writers felt to need to give a hint at Takeru's backup plan instead of suprising us and then explaining with a flashback. The only thing that really caught me off guard was Juuzou not having an exaggerated monster voice.

It seems all the character development went to the villians this episode. Normally this wouldn't bother me but the interactions between the Shinkengers were bland. I got the impression that the writer was just going through the motions with the Shinkengers in order to spend more time on developing Dayuu and Juuzou. The sense of suspense that the writer was trying to build with Dayuu and Juuzou didn't resonate with me since it was crammed into one episode with very little information that can be gleaned.

I don't mind complex stories but they are more prone to falling short of expectations.

Hmm more Pink & Blue working together one wonder if maybe their not hinting at a possible future relationship farther into the series. Juuzo was really nicely designed the red skull on his face goes really well with his mostly white body actually wondering if he supposed to represent Japan in some way with his color scheme being the same as the Japanese Flag. They seem to be giving the Gedoushu some character development with this episode, (Dayu wanting something that I guess she never had in the past) I enjoy that it helps set them apart from the stock villains they use in the Sentai series.

That "Hide and Seek Shinkenger" roll call was one of the best ones. Especially Chiaki.

There's been crossdressing in quite a few sentai before, I don't see why you're so surprised that they pulled this, seeing as Hanto dressed up as a girl quite a few times in Go-Onger.

Besides, would you rather see the whole episode, or just the parts that someone deems appropriate for your viewing? If it's the latter, I have a few 4Kids anime I'd like to suggest to you.

Nice to see an episode without a monster-of-the-week.
Juuzou does look like a badass, and as others have said I have a feeling we might get a character development with him similar to one of the characters in Gaoranger. He reminds me of Gogandantes from the Onimusha games.

As for the cross-dressing, well, he's a Kabuki performer, that's part of the job description. At least he says he's rubbish at it lol.

Shinken keeps getting better and better... I thought Geki had enough plot for a show aimed at younger audience, but it's like the writers showed that -
1) They're more capable than that.
2) They consider the "younger" audience in Japan capable of taking more complexity than they look. (Although, of course, in terms of complexity, Super Sentai has nothing on Kamen Rider.)
Well, that's what I feel like, at least.

but one thing i noticed bout the intro song.
Since the English word "spirits" is spelled out "supirittsu",
shouldn't the word "lets" be LETTSU instead of "Lets Bushido"

LOL well I guess it was bound to happen, the funny thng is, when mako looked down i though that she felt down not because she wore 2 wedding dresses before she got married, but because she though that the blue one made a better maiden than she herself did xD

and ryunosuke's response to being a girl was "i'm not really good at it" but it also gave the impression that he was a biiiit disappointed in himself... but eh oh well xD

Dude with uramasa is cool
