Shinkenger 35 released

Being a kabuki actor or a samurai should be a tough decision but for me, I'll go be a samurai easily.

It's been awhile since Ryuunosuke's kabuki background came up. I don't know why he couldn't do kabuki while being a Shinkenger which Genta does his sushi cart business while fighting as Shinken Gold. His approach to make up with his friend was a bit uncharacteristic of his character where he usually stubbornly confronts everything. But this time, he used no words at all except for his kabuki to mend his bridge. I guess to balance this uncharacteristic act was his battle with the Ayakashi where he was hyperactive and even forced Takeru to do the Zen Samurai Gattai.

As for Samurai Ha-Oh, I think it's been awhile since we see a gattai involving a base. I like the main body itself even with its massive hat of power. At least, it's not all connected together like G12 was.

I guess Ryuunosuke didn't have the words to encourage his friend, so he used dance to express how he felt.

As for Samurai Ha-Oh, it was not what i was expecting at all. When i first heard about it i envisioned a way too huge jumble of Origami ala G12, but it turns out to be a Battle Platform not unlike the GN-Arms from Gundam 00. Nice!

I know this might off topic a bit, but did anyone notice how long Kotoha's hair has gotten? At the start of the series is was shoulder-length and sort of styled, then for awhile it was shorter and styled, but now suddenly it's Unstyled and going down her back!

Okay, at least Haoh ain't as ridiculous as G12. Now we need 2 more mechas to beat the current G12 record!

At least G12 could walk. How the heck does Haoh even move? It's ridiculously immobile. I kind of wish they left it as DaiKai Shinken-Oh

^Agreed. Seemed like it rolls a little bit or something.. but I still don't like it. G12 could fly and rollerskate and could move around better in general.

I guess Ryunosuke's personality prevents him from actually doing Kabuki on the side seeing as how he seems to devote himself wholly to the Shinkenger cause, add to that the fact he left in the middle of a show when he was first summoned it would kinda be unfair to his colleges & the audience if he left to fight right in the middle of a big scene.

I like Haoh & base mech ultra combination's I guess you could call it being weened on the Ultrazord combination in PR (Zyu), granted G12 was impressive but it kinda lacked mystique the all the Engines basically stacking on top of each other, and not really interchanging with each other.

Least the ultra combo of every mech in the series is just a very large stand instead of everything clumped together... it could have been much much worse ><;

How did they get the phone back when we clearly see the monster swallow everything that was in his arms?

..wow, i think you have a completely wrong view on Ryuunosuke's character.
Given how serious he is about his job as a vassal, and the extremely hard work required on doing kabuki, sharing his time would look awfully contraditory for him. He left his old life behind for now, and yet, found a way to show he didn't forget it...really nice episode, even if i'm not too fond of extra huge mechas...
Btw, i wouldn't say it was 'uncharacteristic', Ryuunosuke isn't always overreacting and yelling like, say, Genta does.

I was rather impressed at this episode for the Kabuki dancing. Of all things Japanese that has intrigued me, this would be it. It's such an elegant thing to see, though I'm surprised at how strenuous it can be. However, hard work does bring about great accomplishments.

Except he does most of the time. It's just Genta is more noticeable since he gets more screen time being that he's the sixth ranger

Unlike everything else that the monster swallowed, the phone could not be broken as the mouth chomped down on it, seems the cell cannot be bitten or digested ><;
