Thanks for the subs.
I'll... likely be going back to lurking after this, but I couldn't just sit back and enjoy the fruits without saying thanks.
So thanks. I've seen one or two other fansubs of Shinkenger... but the "flow" here is the best. Good job, to all involved and TV-Nihon in general for getting it out there.
I may swing by when it's over to talk about the series, but till then, keep it up.

Re: Thanks for the subs.
Thanks. It's always nice to hear when people are appreciative
One thing that I'd like to make this an opportunity to say is that it's not really necessary to put down other groups to compliment us. I'm not singling you out, it's just I see other people doing it, and it just doesn't seem like it's a necessary thing to mention
Shinkenger is a pretty good show, can't wait to see what's coming up next

Mmm.
You are quite correct. While I did not mean it that way, I appreciate the point. Fansubbing is a lot of work, and no one deserves to be put down unless their effort is truly abysmal. And none of the Shinkenger subs I've seen have been.
Point taken. Shall I go find a fountain and make like it's a water fall?

Yeah, I know you didn't mean it that way, that's why I felt kind of bad for hijacking your post to make my little announcement. It's cool, thanks again for the nice post
Re: Thanks for the subs.
Happy Thanksgiving! I am thankful for the hard work TVN puts in every week so that I can enjoy watching my favorite sentai show. Cheers!

Re: Thanks for the subs.
I also never thanked you properly, so thanks for all your hard work. Your subs are one of the best, and thanks to you, I am also starting to understand japanese a lot more. So thank you! *bows down like hell*
Also, this is totally off-topic, but I didn't know where to put it. Do you a site or something where they teach you how to write and read japanese? I'm interested in that, because my university only has japanese as a side class and it clashes with my Jitsu training so I can't follow that. And I'm sure it's only a speaking class, which I can do at home as I have lessons on my pc.
So can anyone help out?

Re: Thanks for the subs.
I'm sure there are a lot of sites that can try to teach you Japanese, just google them. Personally, if there's a grammar phrase I don't understand, just googling it tends to help out. Jisho.org is a great dictionary, and even has a place where you can look up a kanji based on the radicals in it.
There really isn't any better incentive (IMO) than knowing you're getting graded for a class, so even if it's only a speaking class, I'd suggest you try taking it if it doesn't clash with the other one. I'm sure there are internet courses as well, and a friend has recommended Rosetta Stone to me before. Failing that, there are quite a few books to teach you, which you can probably find at a nearby library.

Re: Thanks for the subs.
I'd like to thank TV Nihon too, their schedule is consistent, their subs are nicely done to a great quality, and this being my first Sentai Series, it's been great watching their work.
Plus, I've been having trouble with this bit, when they say the -tachi suffix after someone's name (eg. Mako-tachi or Ryunnosuke-tachi), what does it actually mean? Cause I'm thinking it's something like Mako's group or something similar.

I don't have anything to put in here right now.

Re: Thanks for the subs.
It's a suffix that denotes a group of people. It's like saying "Ryuunosuke and the rest" or "Mako and everyone else".TrueZero wrote:Plus, I've been having trouble with this bit, when they say the -tachi suffix after someone's name (eg.
