Shinken Vs Go-Onger released
Re: Shinken Vs Go-Onger released
I love seeing Go-ongers again. As much as people love to complain how comedy filled it was and that we need serious Sentai you can't help but love them. Go-ongers were better represented this movie then the last at least in terms of combat but I guess that's the norm. The direct opposites of Sosuke and Takeru working together was fun to see too. And to be honest I always liked the Go-ongers better than the shinkengers so seeing them in this works out well for me.
Yeah the Red vs Red fight was fun.

I really hope Toei releases a director's cut that might expand on the various subplots. It certainly deserves on with all of the numerous things that happen during the episode.
I'm glad that Toei released a big budget VS movie that isn't AU. This is probably a response to all of the creative liberties Toei took with continuity in Decade.

really enjoyed the movie...Kotoha is cute as ever >.>...
really enjoyed the fight between the Reds....
for a second there i thought they were really going to combine 23 mechas....to be honest i was a little disappointed at the final result of the "23 gattai"...
the Ugut not transforming into a bike....that was just awesome XD....i had a good laugh at that scene....
thanks for releasing and translating the VS movie =)
P.S. did i mention Kotoha is damn cute? XD

I don't really understand how any of the team up specials can't be AU.Arigomi wrote:I really hope Toei releases a director's cut that might expand on the various subplots. It certainly deserves on with all of the numerous things that happen during the episode.

Especially when they pull the whole "We have no clue who you guys are" routine.
Magiranger vs Dekaranger being the least probable team up special I've seen so far.

Re: Shinken Vs Go-Onger released
Despite my dislike for Go-Onger, I loved this special. One of the best VS yet. The red vs red fight was really friggin awesome. Though the final great mech combination was kinda anticlimactic. Though I loved the scene with the dead Go-Onger villains eating at Genta's sushi cart, especially that humorously ruined romantic moment.
Edit: Oh, and the end credits was AWESOME

Seriously the Goseigers are able to beat Akumaro, Juuzo, & Tayuu combined. What a waste of a debut for a team, I guess they liked it so much when they did it with W in Daishocker that they decided to repeat.
Overall it was a enjoyable crossover between the 2 teams.

Re: Shinken Vs Go-Onger released
I'll say it right now, that part pissed me off. Granted, Juuzo and Tayuu didn't have the weapons they normally fight with of which they are more powerful with, but still, for a team of ROOKIE rangers to beat that trio into retreating seriously pissed me off.Battra wrote:Seriously the Goseigers are able to beat Akumaro, Juuzo, & Tayuu combined. Really, there is so much to say about this that I really can't say it all... Though I think I get close enough by saying this is truly an awesome release, truly worth the wait. Thank you as always crew.

Re: Shinken Vs Go-Onger released
Well you gotta think of it like this. Obviously since they are the next rangers in line to protect the free world they should be able to easily beat whatever enemies came in the past. So with that I kinda believed Goseiger had the ability to do that.

Re: Shinken Vs Go-Onger released
this definatly makes up for that 20 minute movie. man wish i could create a car out of a word. was there any point in the three giark leaders cameo appearence? actually enjoyed the goseiger appearence, now why can't they act like that in the series, loved the music during their scene to, if i'd had seen svsg before goseiger then i'd have been seriously dissapointed with the show, even more so than i am now. loved the movie think it's the best vs sentai so far. seriously loved the shinken rap at the end can't wait for that to come out.

Re: Shinken Vs Go-Onger released
this was a really good VS showing the serious shinkengers and comedic go-ongers in a way that most people would never comprehend
I like the Red vs. Red fight scene it was the most unique out off the movie.
the ending was really cool and cheery like.

Re: Shinken Vs Go-Onger released
Ugh. My previous posts is full of so many mistakes because I didn't proofread it.
Christmas World was so crazy with the security checkpoint at the train station.
Having Hanto and Saki on Junk World was a nice reference to when they were stranded alone there.
I didn't make the connection about DaiGoyou shooting Hiden Discs until I saw Gunpei get hit by the coin in Samurai World.
There was an important clue about where the Bacchirium Plant was located in that scene. It is also helps to explain why they didn't get involved in the plot like in most villians in VS movies.AeonRanger wrote:was there any point in the three giark leaders cameo appearence?

Paper lanterns don't work that way!
But seriously, it was nice to see how an actual Goyou lantern was used to apprehend criminals back in the old day. I'm not sure if the original note was as good as seeing actual people run with lanterns shouting "Goyou da!"
