A fun ep, having not watched Agito before I'm not entirely sure what the original story line is, but I guess that doesn't matter, I enjoyed it and that's all that matters

Did any of this epsiode pay Homage to Agito?

Not having seen the seres (Or Kuuga), I's dont know.
Nice episode none the less, we see two more of DiEnds Summons and a new Attack Ride.

I thought this was a pretty good episode.
I've seen Agito, yea...........they messed up on some stuff >_>

Agito has yet to appear, another trend broken? (The main riders would always appear in the first episode of that world.)

And there you go, continuity problem solved for Kuuga/Agito worlds.

Yes, thank you for showing that Agito and Kuuga are similar but separate worlds. Hopefully that'll end some needless fan debating

I kind of feel like they did a lot more references to the original series in this episode than in previous ones. One of the things I regret about translations is that it may not always be obvious when certain lines are direct copies or analogies to other things (like when in Blade world they talk about starting over from zero, and zero is part of Blade's opening lyrics)

I'm a big fan of the original series, and I for one really like the changes. It's kind of cool to see how Kuuga would react to Agito's story. And I like the way they combined Shouichi and Ashihara's character. It may not seem like a fair tribute, but a lot of what made Agito great was how the main characters were troubled by the events going on in their lives.

I don't think it's too spoilery to say that the letter, the garden, and Yashiro's character are all references to the original show (Yashiro's new first name is Touko. In Kuuga her name was Ai, I think). I guess they do spoil some aspects of the original in this episode, but you've seen it, you can't unsee it, no use complaining about it now

Wow...how is there any Agito? I know that Gills is technically an Agito, but where's the main rider? And I love how DiEnd and Drake are side by side. You can see how similar they are!

This episode had so many agito homages it made my head spin. G3-X having the same issues as it did in the original, Imperfect agito rider gills, the garden being exactly like Shouichi's, and a small connection to kuuga world. Probably more but I'm gonna have to watch it again to find more.
I see we're finally getting a bit of character out of Yuuske after all. Also what a cliffhanger at the end!

Going by how it is so far we're probably gonna see this evolution line. Gills->Gills Exceed->Agito. Can't get around that seeing as our main rider of this world is already Gills Exceed.

I wonder what will be agito`s final form raide?

Good point. But seeing this makes me think of the Blade world. What's Tsukasa's speech gonna be since he already said some stuff on evolution?

well im watching Agito now (on episode 9) but I can see some of the references from it

I'm a little afraid to talk about Agito...don't want to be banned....so I'll do it this way:

Its a little odd that Agito world has no Agito...but maybe it still will. Shouichi is Gills (for some reason) and Gills is kind of Agito-gone-wrong. At first I wasn't sure about the episode, but I liked it. G3-X is hard to control, just like in the series. If anything, other than Agito missing, I think this is more faithful to the original than a lot of the other have been.

Alternate Universe or not, the Unknowns should have made their little hand gestures before attacking.

G3 was supposed to be based on Unidentified Lifeform #4, so there is some connection between Agito and Kuuga. Makes sense he would have more of a role here.

I don't think Yuuske will end up staying.

I thought it was good, but it still left me a little unfulfilled for my Agito fix, hopefully part 2 will fix that.

Ashikawa is the mix of Ashihara, Gill's user in the Original Series, and Hikawa, G3's User

Plus with Shoichi's name into the fray

And I miss the big ole G3 truck

I'm not familiar with the world/series but i liked how they executed the AU feel in this world.

the best/confusing bits for this episode:

- Tsukasa's new hair-do. liek wtflol
- Diend's cross attack card. drake + delta = win.
- Yuusuke showing off for his nee-san.

I'm looking forward for the next episode since agito is still missing. weird.
