Are any of the other KR series as exciting as Decade?

I have watched up to episode 18 of Decade and episode 14 of Kiva. Now I like both the characters in Kiva and in Decade (well not so much the 1986 parts of Kiva) but I do notice a big factor in enjoyment between the two for me. Well I guess the appeal of Decade is of course seeing all the previous riders and uncovering why Decade is going to destroy the world which is pretty cool. And I guess Kiva's premise is pretty cool too, figuring out just what happened between 1986 and 2008.

But the thing is, I feel like Decade is constantly fresh (because of travelling to different worlds and meeting new people, I've liked every world so far except for Hibiki's), whereas Kiva has a lot of the villain of the week(s) thing going. I wanna see more of the rivalry between Kiva and IXA but theres just so much other boring stuff getting in the way. Are there any other KR series that are really suspenseful like Decade? I was thinking about checking out Kabuto because it had a kickass opening

Honestly, different people like different Kamen Riders. Just watch the first few episodes of each series and pick which ones are exciting for you

Well, some of them only get better after a while though.

If you really dig the 'rivalry between Riders' thing, Kabuto, Ryuki, 555 (Faiz) and possibly Hibiki may very well have what you're looking for, since they're a bit more focused on that. I haven't personally watched Ryuki yet though, and I've only watched parts of Hibiki, which oddly enough I don't think sucks as much as everyone seems to think it does.

Den-O and Kiva are really all about the main cast and their crazy antics while fighting the monster of the week.

I don't know much about the other series, but from what I've read, Kuuga, Blade and Agito will not interest you at all if you're not into the monster of the week plot.

For me Kabuto is the best followed by Kiva...

Here's my assessment of what I've seen. Don't take any of these negatively because I loved each and every one of these series for different reasons. These are sort of a tongue-in-cheek oversimplification.

Kuuga, have not seen
Agito, have not seen
Ryuki = Kamen Rider Highlander (need not be explained)
555 = Kamen Rider Survivor (two races, switching sides, alliances, stealing back and forth, doods lying to manipulate everyone else. Who gets immunity/the Faiz Gear this week?)
Blade = Kamen Rider Yu-Gi-Oh (collecting, trading, and summoning cards will save the world)
Hibiki = (have not watched yet, just finished Blade so will start this week)
Kabuto = Kamen Rider Guess Who (Are you a Worm? Am I a Worm?)
Den-O = Kamen Rider Stooges (Taros slapstick)
Kiva = Kamen Rider Soapopera meets Horror Flick (The romances of Otoya and Wataru, and the heavy movie-monster theme)
Decade = Kamen Rider Photo Album of very warped photos (because the worlds' stories are all so goddamn backwards)

I'd say just pick any series and see what you think after about 10-20 eps. If it hasn't got your interest, try another one, but it might be worth coming back to it later.

You never know, things can sometimes click on a second viewing

Hmm.. well I have put Kiva on break (I do intend to go back to it eventually) but now I'm keeping up with Decade and as well just started on Kabuto (finished episode 3 so far). I may be speaking too soon, but so far I like it. The main character is too cool, and it seems to be a pretty serious show which is very much appreciated too.

I do admit, that I've tried watching most of the shows at least 3 times before finally watching them fully, mainly because of all the hype due to Decade. The only one I watched from beginning to end without dropping it halfway was Den-O(it's comedy, and may not work for everyone, but damn Momotaros is truly colorful, character-wise). But since I've watched every single one of them now, I assure you, that your time won't be wasted while watching everything. But do focus on only two shows at a time, as it might confuse you.
