Wow, this crossover was a big win and I enjoyed every minute of it. I loved how we had to watch both shows in order to get the full crossover treatment starting from Shinkenger Act 20 to Decade Ep. 25. I really liked the character development for both Natsumi and even Jii as they all learned something from this experience. Takeru is such a badass and this crossover made him look as good as Tsukasa. Wish they had an actual fight against each other though. It was nice to see that it took 8 heroes (Yuusuke finally transforms into Kuuga again) to take down three villains showing that they had to work together to save the world. I'm guessing they put Kuuga in there because he was the first Heisei-Rider. In all, I loved how this was all put together and really made me forget about Saban's crossover attempt during the mid 90s. Oh yeah, the next episode looks awesome! Can't wait to see it!!!

Weird, because after seeing the two Decade episodes and not the Shinkenger epsiodes, I didn't get the idea that I had missed something.

It's only if you watch Shinken 21 that you find the Shinken story slightly disturbed by the Rider arc, and would have to watch Decade 24 and 25.

Shinkenger's 21 fills in some minor points in the story that would have seemed completely random on Decade 25's episode if you hadn't watched it, such as why Jii is at the Hikari Studio, or why this episode starts with Tsukasa speaking with Takeru.

When the rest of the Shinkengers mention, "Where's Takeru? Didn't he come home with us?", it's referring to the Shinkenger episode shown previously as well.

Weird, because after seeing the two Decade episodes and not the Shinkenger epsiodes, I didn't get the idea that I had missed something.

Plot-wise and overall you don't miss anything big by not watching the Shinkenger episodes outside of how Kaito got Eka-chan and how Jii met up with Natsumi's Grandpa and other little things like Warrior of Zarona pointed out. But the 4 episodes connect very well and transitions well into one another too. The Shinkenger episodes still had their own plots outside of the decade ones but they do add to the Decade arc and work well as a 4 episode arc.
