Tsukasa's totally the Doctor
Anyone else think that Decade is eerily similar to Doctor Who?
They both travel beyond the bounds of normal science (Doctor-time and space, Decade- parallel worlds), with companions (although they don't switch around in Decade), to solve people's problems using advanced technology.

I think there a some many media franchises using several concepts that it isn`t that hard to see one and think it looks the same as another.icecreamhendrix wrote:Anyone else think that Decade is eerily similar to Doctor Who?

Teletimemachine (TeleTijdMachine) - Suske & Wiske which debuted 1945 has the same concept as Decade`s photo shop and the Doctor`s TARDIS
Doctor Omega`s ship the COSMOS also has the same property`s as the TARDIS. (1906)
My point being everything has been done before so its not weird to find similar things amongst fiction.

Yeah, I did make that comparison (If you can't tell by my name). Except that Tsukasa beats people up all the time, so The Doctor would probably chew him out, and then Tsukasa would just blow him off...

Unfortunately I must disagree.
Mainly because, all of us mixed DW/KR fans know from the latest season ender of Doctor Who, The Doctor is totally an Imajin. And I don't think that even if Tsukasa was a regeneration, any Imajin would be able to possess him for that reason.

Just watching Decade for the first time (starting episode 29 when I finish typing this). I find this series to be have more of the vibe of Sliders (parallel world) mixed with Quantum Leap (gotta fix something to move on).
This was my first exposure to Den-O as well. The owner of Den-Liner has a very Doctor Who feel to him. Both in personal style and the fact that he travels through time with companions, righting wrongs.

Re: Tsukasa's totally the Doctor
Nah, Dne-o is the doctor. the hijinks of that series are closer to doctor who style, especially on the time travel plots of the movies. the personality changes fit more with the regeneration aspects of the time lords. we have plenty of time travel weemy wammy balls. The Imagin share a few similarities with the daleks and other doctor enemies. also, Momotaros IS the tenth doctor.
come to think of it, i think Owner share a few traits with the first and the seventh doctor..........unless......OH MY GOD OWNER IS THE VALEYARD! RUN FOR YOUR LIFES!

He's not the Doctor.
If anything. He's the Rider.
