A friend showed this to me. Whether you're a horror fan or not, it's probably worth knowing who Junji Ito is. He has some of the most imaginative and creative modern horror out there. I thought the video was very interesting, and I ended up looking up the floating face balloon manga and read it afterwards.

I think what I like best is that what he does isn't shock horror, or psychological horror or even really supernatural horror. It's got things that are strange, certainly, but I'm not sure it really qualifies as supernatural. He really transcends genres and just makes something that sticks in your mind forever.
