Fuuma no Kojirou Live 05 released

Post by AnimeFan »

More feathery action with the ON/OFF twins.

Spoiler
I really liked the battle between Shoryuu and Bouken Black Byakko I think it was well done with the music.

I wish they didn't kill Kouu off so quickly

I think this episode helped shape the tone for the rest of the series. The fact that both good and bad guys died made things a little more meaningful in my mind.

I liked the theme of a copy versus an original that was done by someone else. I think the distinction is subtle but important. Especially in this age where you can say "but I've seen that 100 times before" about anything, I think it's important to say "yeah, it's the same, but it's unique too"

This one and four had to be two of of the most most meaningful episodes of the entire run. Just... wow... Such a powerful message there. Just... I don't know... it ranked up there in my book. It definitely beats the speech that Otoya gave to Wataru in 45 and his death in 46 for me... And while I'm not a twin, it does hit home a bit for me.

This is such a great series... It's a shame it only ran for such a short time...

Anyone else know that they made a stage show from this either during or soon after the run?

I'll just say this... BoukenBlack was a very busy boy during the years of 06, 07 and the start of 08... just dang... Ray Fujita had his share of busy schedule too...

Wow. That was a good episode; a mixture of nice fights and meaningful drama. However...

Spoiler
T o T Nnoo! How could Kouu die so quickly?! I was about to warm up to him and Rinpyou...

...ARGH! It's very sad that I don't get to see one of his powers. That would have been cool to see it.

hassei and shirei, I do like the BGM you mentioned but that not the song I meant, I was talking about eien no setsuna which has to be one of my favorite songs.

Of course ON/OFF being in Fuuma and singing the ending theme had absolutely nothing to do with why I volunteered to work on this show.

Say isn't the girl playing Yasha-hime the same one that is on Keitai Sousakan 7 playing Mido Yuri?

I'm not so torn up about Kou's fate since he at least got some character development. Rinpyou is another matter. He finally appears in this episode after teasing us as one of the missing ninjas in the roster but sadly ends up with all the red shirts of Star Trek.
