This episode is good. There are plot, lots of it. And there's that trope which the organization you're working for is the organization you're fighting.

I can feel Chase's indecisive struggle. Returning to the starting point of saving Kiriko "under the rain" is also a pretty nice scene.

I don't like the design of Rider Chaser, it just looks like a remodel of Fourze. However, I love his fighting style - firm, hard punches, no fooling around. And he just simply accepts that he needs to wait for the Ax's signal to turn green before his finisher attack, with no complains, that's fitting of his style . Go would have presented a whole lot of swear words.

Everything is good in the episode, except that... that guy. Can I just punch him in the face. I just absolutely hate this kind of -laughing in your face- characters. There are millions other ways to act a scumbag.

So now that the police knows about Kamen Rider, shouldn't Rinna-san be equipping the police with the anti-Roidmude bullets, as well as the Rider-kick boots that Kiriko wears? Wouldn't that make the fight against the Roidmude easier, and boost the credibility of the Special Cases Unit? Also, I get the feeling that each time Honganji goes for a 'holiday trip', it's actually a cover for him as he helps Krim search for information about 001.

Oh man, Signal Ax and the whole waiting time is hilarious.

I really hate the Chief of First Division. His laughter and overall incompetency is so damn irritating, and he has only been around for two episodes! Is he a Roidmude? Hey look, it's Horiuchi Masami as the Minister of Defense. He was also a regular in UltraSeven X!

Wait a minute, so if the world doesn't know of the Roidmudes' existence thanks to information manipulation, does this mean the survivors got a memory wipe? What is this, UltraSeven X all over again??

I liked this episode especially the debut of Kamen Rider Chaser. Also, loved that scene of both Chase and Kiriko. Give them more. <3

And that Roidmude 001... I thought he was evolved into his true form like Heart.

It's pretty funny that the Minister of Defense is Roidmude 001. His name is even a clue 真影, it means "true shadow" and the whole episode talks about the way he's in the shadows, manipulating the story from the background.

Chase's entrance is outstanding.

Also, his belt doesn't match the rest of his aesthetics, since it's just the Mach Driver renamed. The least you could have done is repaint it purple. I know Bandai loves that sort of thing. Do it! Sell the same thing to kids twice!

Have to agree the design for Chaser is crap. There is just too much silver. If it was like 80% purple like his original form it would look much better.

I think Rider Chaser has a great color scheme. The silver with delicate purple and green touches -- it has the high quality feel of an expensive tech gadget. If he gets a power up it will probably be more purple, but I guess they had to back away from the black since he's turned good.

That is what i immediately thought of with Chaser's first kamen rider henshin. The axe is cool and the whole waiting thing is what you expect from Rinna and Chase just switches to gun mode while waiting. Speaking of the gun, i think its works better with Kamen Rider Chaser than Mashin Chaser. I do agree that the Chief Nira is slimeball that more than deserves a few punches to the noggin.

funny you say that. I made a request on tumblr and someone made this for me.

I like Chase's design, actually, but that's probably because Silver and Purple are my first and second favorite colors respectively (I always loved silver, and purple got added thanks to the Silencers cars from Hot Wheels' Acceleracers line).

I also love how he just accepted that the axe was saying to wait, set it down, pulled out his gun and just shot the guy.

GOOD GOD THEY FINALLY GOT CHASE BACK INTO THE SEAT OF A RIDER!!! Anyone else think it took them long enough? Anyways, lets hope they don't kill him off RIGHT after he gets his rider belt and everything, but know Toei, they MIGHT do that.

I still don't like Chase and would have rather he died (and stayed dead). More than anything else he's boring; he doesn't talk, and characters who don't express themselves just aren't very interesting. Though his entire arc has been horribly predictable.

I also hate the 1st division chief. But clearly that's intentional.

Meanwhile Go calls it as he sees it. Clearly Kiriko is infatuated with Chase. Which isn't the worst plot point in this series, but the rescued damsel becoming infatuated with her savoir is really cliche in 2015, even for a show like Kamen Rider. Plus we already kind of did that in Gaim.

As for Kamen Rider Chaser, I think someone else nailed it: he looks like a reskinned Fourze. Which I liked Fourze, but this comes too soon. And speaking of too soon, I know it has been 5 years since Kamen Rider W, but reusing Accel's SFX library just means that whenever I hear Chaser's axe, all I can think about is Accel.

Finally, is it me or does it seem like the show has undergone a significant tonal shift since Formula? We're on a new arc of course, but it's more than that. The plot is moving for several episodes in a row, Shinnosuke suddenly has a father to worry about, the Riders are no longer a secret, etc. I've really liked these most recent episodes (except perhaps the end of the last March 2-parter), so in the back of my mind I'm wondering if perhaps this is an intentional soft reboot of the series. This seems bigger than just a new arc.

I would have liked Chaser's suit had it been the inverse, purple with silver accents. Would have made him look a bit more like Machin Chaser.

Also is this a Sentai series now?
