What'd you think?

One of my favorite shows of all time. Special effects are just epic, you'd never get this kind of quality in Toei's shows, and the story is epic too. I didn't watch any of the old Showa Ultraman series, but each episode featuring them are really interesting and makes me understand them straight away what kind of people they were.

Loved it, 5! It's my second favorite Ultraman after Max. Thought the story and effects were great and I love Igarashi Shunji!!!

I could write a sonnet to Mebius and still not adequately portray how much I love it.

Really great show. I am actually rewatching it on Crunchyroll right now.

Mebius is definitely my favorite Ultra Series and one of my all-time favorite toku series. I cannot properly express how much I love both Mebius himself (quite possibly my favorite toku hero) and the series as a whole. it was the first Ultra Series that I watched but not the first one i completed (that would be Nexus). you can tell how much Igarashi Shunji and the Showa Ultra actors enjoyed returning and portraying their roles. Mebius has led me to watch many of the other Ultra Series (slow progress but I plan to try to watch all of them)

Great story line... an Ultraman fighting with his team mates... guest appearances of senior Ultraman and their actors... no doubt, 5 out of 5 for mw

This was the 2006 series, the previous was Ultraman Max.
The tried and tested formula used by many Ultra series, Ultraman Nexus was about to be considered a reboot of the series, good concept for mature audiences, it did not got a better viewer rating, until it was aired later in a better time-slot.
In that year, Tsuburaya commemorated the 40th anniversary of the 1966 series that started it all, Ultraman original.
Subsequent series were made and some of the popular actors that played their respective roles in such series have been brought to give some nostalgia, I personnaly watched a few of these shows when I was a boy.
Ultraman and Kamen Rider are great icons in Japanese culture, created by two different production companies, both enjoy a big following.
Exists rumours in 2016 there will be an Ultraman movie, I hope this can be materialised.
The whole series is good to watch, the only thing that may have brought down was the superior character and the subordinate, at times he looked incompetent.
Susume Korube portrayed Shin Hayata the host of Ultraman Original, he appeared nearly at the end of the series, after that in the movies with the other actors that played human hosts; he appeared in Ultraman Max as defense chief.
Overall, 5 of 5 stars.

A great series, definitely a 4! A great mix of old and new, a nice balance that is really needed for a commemorative show. Love the cameos, the really nice effects but what stopped me from giving a 5 is the cast. It's not that I hate them but they seem to lack that "something" to really shine, especially Ryu. Maybe it's because I compare them to some casts of other ultra shows that I really loved like Nexus.
