it aired as a side story to Mebius, it basically explains how Hikari came to be how he was and how he gained such power

Sweet some back story on Hikari and how he became Hunter Knight Tsurugi, interesting that he originally received his powers from Ultra King. Speaking of Ultra King this is the first time i've actually seen him in an Ultra Series has he appeared in any of the older series beyond Seven since I don't remember seeing him in that?
