You would think that at the very least, they would've had Weather plug in all of the Memories he's been collecting over the years and turn into a super Dopant or something for his final battle with Ryuu. But no, that promise to overturn Terror's dynasty lies forever unfulfilled.

It wasn't supposed to be HIS (Weather's) final battle though. He went into the battle thinking he would definitely crush Accel with what he had. Rather, he underestimated him and was crushed himself. Plus, I think that he was already at his peak or preferred level of power, at least without the Quetzalcoatlus Memory; he didn't have anything else to pull out.

He could have, oh I don't know, released an aura of freezing air to slow down and freeze Accel, or an aura of heat to blast him back. These are all things he's done before, if I'm not mistaken. Isaka can affect the ENTIRE area around him, but instead opted to use direct attacks that Accel Trial could dodge.

Also, Dimension-Crash, the other Memories he's collected are already plugged into him. I'm pretty sure his increased strength and the apparent ability to teleport or disappear within a column of fog is not part of the Weather Memory's power set.

That lag in the explosion was intentional, because Accel used Hokuto Shinken and it has a lag in which the enemy is already dead but thinks he is still alive.

What are you talking about, man? Saeko having daddy issues was really really early on in the series, remember? The flashback about how Ryubee treated Saeko when she was younger, and how he always favored Wakana and let her play while she had to work...don't remember the episode number exactly, but it was before the double-digit episodes I think.

She only seemed cold and ruthless when she offed Kirihiko because, well, he was weak. It's easy to seem calm and collected and intimidating when you know your opponent is no match for you.

I remember that. Resenting your sister is one thing, doing all that stupid stuff because of daddy issues is another. You say she only seemed cold and ruthless... That's because they showed her being that sorry escuse for a villain now. If they kept her like she was in the beginning... Well, we wouldn't be having this discussion. They made her bet all she had in Shinkurou and made her act like a little puppy. They could've made her a traitorous SOB without being that submissive to Shinkurou. IMO, they ruined a potentially cool villain turning her into a kind of lackey...

Do you understand how complaining Isaka's multi-episode plotline and complaining about formulaic 2-episode plotlines is contradictory? I mean, I know it's not the exact same thing (Isaka's been around for about 12 episodes) but this was obviously something that Terui had to do himself

Oviously. And that's why it was delayed. And I don't see the contradiction. Yes, it might be seen as 12-episode arc, but a 10-episode arc would be different too. They delayed it until Trial showed up, and that was easy to notice. I think that was a flaw. It's not because I want different arcs that I will find any different arc well done.

I wonder if Accel Yellow Form(TM) will actually get used. Seems a shame to make such a nice costume just as a transition.

Maybe that's the whole point, or maybe, the first three are completely unrelated and its like the cup of water that's half empty of half full.
