Most definitely. When they open up a new case, they get rid of the tension that was building up. I would still prefer having the number of letters in the alphabet x2 since every arc/case is two episodes. It's always great when the "monster of the week" thing gets interrupted by the final arc. That makes 100. I looked back and, that was quick.

wow. that really is kind of depressing.
KR Double has really won me over, and I'm excited for KR O's and all, but its always an annual depressing moment when my protagonist changes over and I have to re-think everything about a new character. You would think that would make me a fan of Den-O with all its non-stop episodes and movies, but Den-O is one of my least favorites...maybe.

But I digress, I'm excited to see what we get out of these last few episodes. I think we can all agree that W has the potential for a pretty epic ending.

Pardon the pun, but 49's an awfully odd number of episodes. 50 is common, 48 somewhat less, but 49 is pretty weird.

I don't suppose anyone knows TV Asahi's tendencies in terms of airing specials, do they? I'm only vaguely aware of their quiz shows and not much else.

Ah. I was coming at it from the perspective of TV semesters lasting 24-26 episodes and so KR as a year-long series would be twice that.
