Looks like the DaiRangers have disbanded. Clearly the show is over. Thanks for watching!

Proper response now?

This is why I love DaiRanger. Not a single wasted main character.

The motivations felt a bit awkward, mainly because not all are actually death...

Shadam's battle armour, did he mean to be an Ultraman first?

Suitless rolecall, that actually has a good reason for it, how many episodes since they actually used all movements again? Still, it made fully clear that all can actually somewhat use their fighting styles, except Rin, might have been the choreography, but they went to extremes to have her do as little as possible.

Something I've been wondering about a long time in this series, this episode all but confirmed it. Kameo and Kazu are a couple right? How else am I supposed to interpret the playful statement of "playing together" and Kameo calling Kazu bashful?

Actually, about the no wasted characters, did Zaidos have any more backstory besides being a commander. Shadam is part of the main plot and Kou's plot and Gara is a part of the Daigo/Kujaku story line, but did Zaidos have any other connections?

Finally, preview wise:

Spoiler
I knew Japanese shows used to be worse at handling spoilers, but that title and screen just beats all...

Boukenger eat your heart out.

I suppose Gokaigers DaiRanger episode makes more sense when one watches this episode. This suitless role call I believe is the first, and in my opinion, the best.

im glad that these guys are still going almost to the end of the entire series -its a shame this series didn't get all of its fight scenes and characters used in power rangers its got some really good stuff-personally think it would have been better if they had retired the old team and gone with the new rangers every year from the start.

Also what project can we look forward to once they complete dai rangers -zyurangers , megarangers -since their already started or will you do a new one all together like kakurangers

They did a Zaidos-centric episode or two, IIRC. Something to do with a pet MOTW or something that he used? As afar as actual back story, there's none that I recall.

I sincerely hope they do Kakuranger next, but even if they don't it'll give me a chance to catch up on all the others that ARE completed. What with Gokaiger AND Dairanger about to be done, I won't know what to do with myself!

Yellow was totally wasted. I can't even remember his name half the time.

Honestly I only remember his name cause he and Kujaku had such a wonderful "who can say the other's name more often" contest

Yellow is Kazu, the drunk fighting hairdresser.
Green is Daigo, the pet shop owner with the Kujaku relationship.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who remembers Daigo's name solely because of how often Kujaku said it. Blue is who I have a mental block with. For some reason, I usually don't have a problem with Yellow/Kazu.

The roll call in this episode is pretty neat.

See, I still have problems telling those two apart. Even when I do know their names I forget who's who. I blame the lack of color coordinated outfits.

I didn't have problems with their names. It's their ranger names I have problems with.

At least Daigo had the Kajuku story and Shouji had the dumb monsters stories. But Yellow he had crap to do.

Thank God. It's so aggravating for the women of this series to shout a male character's name so dramatically and repetitively.

Wait.....the guys do it too. Wow this show has some bad acting.

We need more suitless role calls in these series along with more suitless fight scenes against the grunts in these series those are always good to watch and pretty badass when they do it.
Nice to see call backs from previous arcs show up, makes you realize that Rin & Kazu kinda got the short end of of the side story's.

4 episodes for Daigo & the Trio

5 episodes for Jin

And however many for Kujaku

Rin shared a couple with Kou & I think Kazu had one with Kameo

The whole San Baka thing in these last few episodes has always aggravated me.

Are they dead, or aren't they?

The end of 40, with that phone call to Shouji, established that they either survived the explosion, or did die, but got kicked out of hell (if Kamikaze's statement is to be taken literally). I guess, in the case of the latter, they could just be wandering the Earth as ghosts, but Kamikaze confirmed it when Shouji asked him if they were alive.

But then this episode, with their appearance to Shouji
Don't talk about the last episode
