Oh, that was just some advice I took from people who said that long vowels like that could be translate as an r. It was early on (Dai 1 released Sept 2, 2003) so I was still learning as a translator

Great to see you guys subbing this series again. And using DVDs as a source. I remember the original subs you guys did, using what seemed to be video based off old, worn out VHS tapes. I recall one episode where there was nothing but a blue screen for 10-15 seconds or so. ^^;

Take-san

Absolutely love the Dai release

And it's ironic that with Doukoku out of the way over in Shinkenger, HE's wreaking havoc in Dairanger as well!^_^

Also because spelling it Gooma would feel a bit awkward. The fourth option is Gouma.

I know I am kinda late posting this, but I am online after a few months and I just want to put a late thank you here for doing DaiRanger. It is probably fave sentai ever (perhaps maybe because I had the pleasure of actually seeing this when I was a kid, so it's like revisiting childhood for me). Your work does not go unappreciated. Tv-Nihon's translations and quality is just un matched by any other group out there on everything you guys do. Thanks again and please keep doing what you do.

Oh my god, this series is awesome. I watched the first episode with my wife, and we both liked it, although we did notice it bore some similarities to Maskman, because the Qi Power is similar to the Aura Power, but that so far is the only similarity so we'll just gloss over it. :)

anyway, the villains look awesome, and the Mechas are very impressive. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more. since you guys managed to sub 30 episodes, you've only got 20 to go. Keep up the good work! :)

The mechas are pretty impressive. The mecha battles themselves, not so much. It really says something when the best mecha battle that used those suits was filmed by Saban.

However, the human-scale battles are amazing.
