I've got a promo for this from the Kamen Rider ZO laser disc release. The headliner was ZO at about 40 minutes, and then a 20 minute Dairangr and Janperson. It was made so early in the process that the promo used Zyuranger music.
Although i'm not sure what the Kanji was saying, the Kana and the (spoken) English called it the "Toei Superhero Fair"
I believe they held them for a few years more... next year was Kamen Rider J, Kakuranger and B-Fighter, and then next one... I believe featured Keita Amemiya's Hakaider and must have been Ohranger and B-Fighter Kabuto
I'm pulling that from memory, so I won't swear that's exactly right.
The 1994 Toei Superhero Fair had the Blue Swat movie, not the B-Fighter movie. That was the 1995 one.

could someone please clarify exactly which episodes the movie falls between? I downloaded the batch torrent and I'm not really sure where the movie falls in the grand scheme of things.

And just like nearly every episode I've seen of this show, this movie is about Hairdresser, Serial Killer, and Pompador having an adventure by themselves with Red and Girl sort of in the background somewhere. Hooray for Dairanger!
Ryou talking to the audience at the end is trippy.

At least the movie used the tv shows footage. Besides some SD footage used in mecha effect shots, in the opening. The show was finished on film. So the series itself should be done the same way. That means at least up to Dairanger, Toei can release blurays of the shows.

So I THINK this is a dumb question, but that's the picture on the front page isn't them now, right? That's them 20 something years ago with make up to make them look old, correct?

I love this movie so much. I mean it's standard sentai movie shenanigans but was done early enough to have all the cool monsters from the start of the series come back and pretty much redo the fight from the first episode (showing off the powers). Also fairly certain it revived the Sentai movies.

Thanks so much for re-listing this! I bought the Dairanger DVDs a few weeks ago and was bummed when I learned they were missing a short film. Cheers to you guys!
