Dairanger 25 released

Kazu has been taken captive as his copy attempts to assassinate Doushi.

Spoiler
It must be a first when an enemy uses multiple copies of a Sentai team. Yeah it would be hard to defeat multiple copies of yourself. It even managed to copy RyuuSeiOu but nothing beats DaiRenOu.

Fun Fact- The actor who plays Kazu has a twin who played his evil copy in this episode. However, his twin was the main character in Juko B-Fighter and the actor that played Kazu had the opposite role in that show.

At least his twin was the leader of his Toku team lol, although I do believe that he was originally supposed to be the Red Dairanger and Keiichi Wada was the Yellow one.

I confess I've not been keeping up, but I'm a sucker for evil copies so I watched this one. And I loved how the drunken box...eh, pole spear arrow-er won out against the whole team and a dominatrix photocopier. Also the spider-tracer and PSA at the end.

Are there any copy-humans around you?

Edit - anyone else hear Vader's theme at 13:19?

The imperial march sound alike is quite prominent in DaiRanger.

This time it's the yellow one that has a twin? What is with Sentai actors and twins...

If I remember right both the actors for Ikenami Ryunosuke and Fukami Retsu also had twins in real life, who were both used as evil twins in the series. Does Japan have a disproportionate number of twin actors, or do the casting calls for these series require for one Ranger actor to have an identical twin?

Retsu actually did have a twin but Ryuunosuke does not IRL.

Hmm, I think they should have darkened the clone suits to give it a more evil look. Oh wells. That's just me.

If you hire an actor, and they have a identical twin, you write a evil episode. It's a lot easier to do it than. Instead of blowing a whole episodes budget with effect shots, and limiting the camera.

Wouldn't it have been wiser to pick the team off one by one or at least for Copy Empress to copy DaiRenOu instead of RyuuSeOu, or even multiple copies of RyuSeiOu like she did for the Dairanger's?

That plot hole was most likely caused by them only having one Dairenoh suit. Their only option was to copy ryuuseioh. Also, you can explain it away that her top copy machine only can do one copy. While her bottom one can do unlimited.

What? Saying something like that is a plothole is a little much. Like a lot of things that would make sense in real life don't necessarily hold in entertainment, that's the whole point of suspension of disbelief

That's why I gave a in-show explanation too....

At least 3, as shown here, in case one set gets damaged and another's dirty or something. Look, it pays to have backups. XP Then they can do this and have multiple units and whatnot. There's also different kinds of suits. There's the ones that spark and the ones for closeups and the ones for distance shots....I'd imagine it's also relatively cheap to make a few copies of each suit. I mean, once you've got the design down....

The mecha, of course, are a different issue. While from a plot standpoint it would have made more sense for the monster to copy DaiRenOu, they most likely only have the one DaiRenOu costume, so they had to use RyuuSeiOu. On that note, where was Kibaranger in this episode? Who did Rin hire to babysit Kou while she went to the pool? Okay, maybe he's a bit old for babysitting, but shouldn't Byakko Shinken have detected the Gouma and alerted/bossed Kou into showing up? It would be nice to see WongTiger or KibaDaiOu thrown in the mix, although having DaiRenOu again was a nice change.
