Ryou goes through some hellish training to rescue the other Dairangers and to beat Jin.



I guess once Zaidos said that he needed a human for his MaKenshi, I realized that Jin would be that guy. Too bad for Zaidos that Jin immediately turned against him. Sucks to be Zaidos. Also the giant fight in the episode seem to have some parts cut out of it. I didn't expect the gauntlet on Jin's left hand. I thought the glove was covering up some nasty scar from being stabbed by his sensei. I guess he chopped off his left hand.

Punch attack is freakin sweet. I'm glad that Ryou gets some Good solo character development via Jin.

Damn for a couple minutes their I thought I was watching DBZ with that fight between Ryou & Jin. I think Ryou's strong enough now that he can punch through the Reality Wall.

Well DBZ was on while Dairanger was going. So I wouldn't be surprised they where trying to appeal to that fan base too.

I think it's more just that DaiRanger is a tribute to martial arts flicks in general. Sometimes that stuff is over the top, which is okay

There was crazy action stuff in films before Dragon Ball

Which got the franchise in trouble, with parents, and screwed any other time to show off this amount of action anymore, unfortunately.

y'know for a kids tv show what the "show" is pretty sick i mean all that blood over ryou if that was shown over here the company would get sued into next year. he is awesome though ryou i think he's the best leader ever. what is a MaKenshi exactly?

This hole story with Jin is cool and all but... Where the hell is Kou?

Seriously, Kiba Ranger never show up again, is like they throw us a character and then say "screw it, let's just make he apear again only when his new arc begin", its really sad.

Anyway, this episode was awesome! You don't see this kind of action on Sentai anymore.

Does anyone know what Ryou was wearing in this episode? It's been bugging me for a while now and I really want to know. I saw it in an anime recently so I figured I'd search. No luck so far.


I'm refering to the coil resistance suit he wears and is seen several times such as when he removes his shirt at 11:12 until he breaks loose at 11:34

It made me feel really weird at the end when they beat the MOTW. I'm also really surprised they were able to beat him that easily. Typically troubles that are had in normal size translate into the giant fights as well but I guess they just didn't have time for that this time around? Also, I kinda like how it didn't feel like much of a victory because of what is being foreshadowed with Jin. Also, did anyone else get a FFVII vibe from Jin's last scene?
