Re: No Goseiger 7/11
I think people think Shinkenger is a better show because they see some serious elements in it and assume it has a more deep story. While Shinkenger does have a lot of great character moments and scenes, it really is the same goofy monster of the week stuff that defines Sentai to me. A lot of people bash Go-Onger and Goseiger for not being serious or compelling, even though those series have those moments too. Like when all the non-core characters die at the end of Go-Onger, I thought that was some pretty compelling stuff
As for why people bash Goseiger, it's the mob effect. Each person that they see do it makes it easier for themselves to bash it. It's just a go with the flow thing

I personally have legitimate reasons why I don't like Goseiger, but I'll get into them elsewhere. But I will say it's not just because it's not hardcore and full of drama, I loved Go-onger just as much as Shinkenger. I also enjoyed Boukenger and Dekaranger.

Re: No Goseiger 7/11
Not to say that everyone needs to like Goseiger, it's just that the reasoning might be more arbitrary than people would care to admit?
Like with Go-Onger it might be the goofy eye mecha or Goseiger it's the card gimmick. Someone could say those are their reasons and that'd be kind of okay
But is Shinkenger's main plot that much more refined compared to Go-Onger or Goseiger's? I don't know if I can say that

I think there is still a potential out there for Goseiger, but they really need to move along with it. Personally, I was able to take the year breather with Go-Onger because consistently asking a children's TV show to be serious is tiring and will make the series kinda stale. However, Goseiger just doesn't have that catching appeal.
P.S.: Is it just me or does the topic title sound like an oxymoron? "No Goseiger 7/11" when 7/11 should always be open?

I like Goseiger alright. I mainly use it for weekly distraction. This week I'll just find another show I'm only semi-passionate about. But all in all, I really am pulling for Goseiger. We've seen that it has potential like when . And as for why there's no Goseiger this week... Lets see...They're all heartbroken after looking for love all last week. They're too busy eating their weight in chocolate, watching chick flicks, and crying their eyes out. But fear not! Master Head will act as their BFF and snap them out of it (cause we all know that Goseiknight won't)
Spoiler
Alata finally beats Derepta

I think Goseiger is going to be alright. Like I definitely like a lot of the characters by now, and GoseiKnight adds a lot of the cool factor.

Re: No Goseiger 7/11
Yeah, I'm up to episode 18 now, and GoseiKnight and the new villains add about ten times more quality and entertainment value and room for character development to the show (I made my last judgment around ep 14 or 15). But the mecha designs can't be changed. v_v
