As you might have guessed, Aya and Mayu are the singers for the opening and ending themes. Ikeda Aya (opening) and Kudou Mayu (both endings). In fact, you probably saw Kudou Mayu's mini-album commercial last week. HEART GOES ON was a b track on the Tomorrow's Song single

*toy rant*

Oh my god! Why the hell would you make dolls that poop Heart Seeds? IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE! :P

Good episode today. This is how you do a school festival episode right. (Hmm, it's a good thing "Kudo" and "Aya" didn't have many lines. The little they said didn't sound all that great)

That song is really catchy. The lyrics fit the animation really well. The fashion club looked pretty good - I only say "pretty good" because fashion-wise I don't get Itsuki or Yuri's outfits. I like their "old me" better than their "new me".

So, the festival/fashion show plot comes to an end. This arc/mini-arc was done very well. I loved seeing so many of the characters from previous episodes gathered. It makes the HeartCatch universe feel very connected. If these people live near each other and go to school together, you should see them at an event that involves the community.

I was surprised to see Itsuki's dad there. For some reason, I thought he was dead.

I'm still a little fuzzy on what a "light music club" is. Was it the music that was controlling the lights? I thought the shapes made in the crowd by the lights were neat.

I never heard of the term either before translating this episode
Kei-ongaku 軽音楽 【けいおんがく】 (n) light music, (P)

Kei is literally the word for light as opposed to heavy. Knowing the Japanese, I assume it's just music that's not as hard as rap, hard rock, or metal

^Wouldn't that be what QC is for?

Thus the name for K-ON!, incidentally.

So yeah. This is a good episode, although Aya and Mayu, since they're voiced by professional singers rather than actors, sound way too old for their ages. They sing an awesome song (which happens to be the B-side of Tomorrow Song), so I forgive them. I liked that we saw some new teamwork dynamics during the fight. Sunshine shielding Moonlight during their double rush was a cool touch. Alas, no 4-way finisher or transformation sequence.

Mistakes happen and are always going to happen. Don't be a dick about it, unless all the stuff you work on is flawless in every way

Maybe you should follow your own advice, bro. You just jumped off the handle at a casual remark.

Az gave a perfectly fine answer and since people make mistakes, it should have been left at that

Anyway, your remark makes it sound like QC didn't do their job. That was what I was saying was dickish about that remark. It's like, no dude, QC can't mistakeproof everything that comes out. Sometimes stuff is going to get overlooked and people should just kind of accept that as part of a process that's put out by people

Anyone else thought Tsubomi was super cute in her maid(?) outfit, especially when she did the turn?

lol @ Take-sama and That Guy fighting, although I have to agree with Take-sama.

Huh?what do you mean by no 4-way transformation sequence? From what I saw there was one, they did the exact same thing as when Cure Sunshine appeared, putting the sequences together.

And I was expecting a 4-way Shining Fortissimo but alas, we can only dream.

Well, I meant a newly animated one rather than splicing bits and pieces together from what already existed. Since we can assume they'll usually be transforming together for the rest of the season, it wouldn't be a waste of budget in my opinion to make a new sequence for the next 12 or 14 eps.
