Question about chronologity
Is this the second, first or third in the series?
I want to watch it, but i guess i have to see the first ones first before touching this.

Pretty sure it's at least not the first.

Re: Question about chronologity
This is the second Anime in the series, with Rockman.EXE (I think) preceeding it.

Re: Question about chronologity
Yeah, the original show has been completely subbed and, at this point, none of the others have.
There's five shows:
EXE
EXE Axess
EXE Stream
EXE Beast
EXE Beast+

And aside from Beast+, they all follow the same full episode format. Beast+ had two half episodes per showing... or so I've heard.Magenta wrote:Yeah, the original show has been completely subbed and, at this point, none of the others have.

Re: Question about chronologity
It's not so much that, as that it was a 15-minute show put in a half-hour block with a different 15-minute show. So often people batch 'em up in groups of 2 to make it the standard episode length.

Re: Question about chronologity
Technically, the chronology goes:
EXE Season 1
EXE Season 2
Axess
Stream
Rockman.EXE The Movie
Beast
Beast+
The "original season" was actually two seasons' worth of episodes, and it does have two separate story arcs (Season 1 dealt roughly with the events of EXE 1, Wily and his WWW, and Season 2 dealt with Gospel). The N1 Grand Prix tournament takes place in Season 1, somewhat out of chronology with the games (EXE 3 held the N1 tournament), but this is of little concern.

If you want to be technical, it's: Stream
Movie
Stream
The movie takes place about halfway through the Stream series.

Re: Question about chronologity
No, groups like [a certain "rival" I can't mention] did it back when it was still airing, so check them.rizefall wrote:So i have to watch the first seasons in english and the ones you sub and the rest well.. Subbed?
Please, spare yourself from the terrible dub.
Edit: Oh btw, no need to worry about the timeline. If you know the games, they'll follow their main plot elements (but even then, there's tons of random filler, anime-only characters, and changed mechanics), but next to nothing really carries over between the series except Cross Fusion's gonna be a main thing from now on just changed up as time goes on.

No, I'm afraid you're wrong.Leonite Rider wrote:Beast and Beast+ dont use Cross Fusion as much from what I undertand though.
Spoiler
They use it in the beginning of Beast, but it's painful to do in Beyondard since the navis can materialize in that world. Since then, they used Beast Out more often than Cross Fusion.
Haven't seen much of Beast+, but they use it there too.

Re: Question about chronologity
Actually, as much as I may get lambasted for it, the dub isn't terrible. Axess is actually a lot closer than the first two seasons (EXE Season 1 and 2) with the dub and while there were still a ton of changes, it's nothing like the tragedy of errors that the first 52 episodes had to go through. (not that we even got to see all 52 episodes, Canadian TV viewers got the closest to seeing all of the episodes as some were never shown on American TV)
So, again, take it with a grain of salt. I tend to prefer subs anyway but I'll admit that I watched as much of the dubbed version of the series that I could as well.

Re: Question about chronologity
A certain other group still has torrents up and they are not hard to find if you wana go there. I consider the group mostly dead but if you want the EXE you can go google for their torrents.(which are not dead)rizefall wrote:So i have to watch the first seasons in english and the ones you sub and the rest well.. also: Yes Viz did part of access but never finished it. I really wish they had but then again I wouldn't have TV nihon doing it XD
